This was an upgrade from a Nuvi 1490. Can't say the maps are any better, but it has lots of extra features. This is my third Garmin. I do have GPS in my car, but it's outdated. I like the life time map and traffic feature.

Very good product. Its to bad the employees couldn't help a senior set it up.

Over all I'm very happy with my new GARMIN DriveSmart 65 GPS. I did notice that it seemed to insist that a local highway was closed, but it isn't, it's just under construction. otherwise it's been very accurate

I bought this product for my work on the road and the best thing about this Garmin is it alerts you on road conditions and recommended you to take other easier routes.

Really is nice, big screen, can see text messages and calls

Updating is so easy, no need to hook up to a computer.

If you get out of your vehicle for a long period of time your phone Bluetooth disconnects from it's hard reconnecting the GPS back to your Bluetooth.

I loved the features. The only thing I didn't like was that it lost track of which time zone I was in on my return trip which made arrival times somewhat confusing.

Love that we can go more the a couple hundred mile at a time with out entering a new destination. Went from California to Georgia with one entry. Much better upgrade then the one we had.

Just took it for our Niagara Falls,ON vacation. No issues finding places in Canada. Just make sure you update your maps. I preferred the square of my old Garmin 7" mount to this one (round) but you get use to it. On sale too!

So much better than fighting iPhone mapping while driving. It is great!

this Garmin DriveSmart 65 GPS works great. I use it in two older cars that do not have built in navigation. I gave it 4 stars as it is a bit behind in map updates of current roads that google maps already has updated.

Was looking for a new GPS. Having owned a Garmin Nuvi for years ir was time for the latest version. Resolution excellent. size excellent. Finally Bluetooth a bonus.

No detailed instructions included with product.... Had to contact Best Buy for help. After appointment with Geek Squad everything okay so far, but we have only used it for one trip....

I’m in HVAC and go to many houses, getting there works well but not perfect. Doesn’t always put you on the fastest route. One reason why I purchased it was has the Bluetooth, where I can see texts on the GPS unit and who’s calling me. I’m in and out of houses on the phone and when I get close to the truck it automatically connects to Bluetooth which is extremely annoying and unprofessional considering I may be talking to my boss or another customer. After unsuccessfully attempting to correct This in the setting of both my phone and the unit, I disabled the Bluetooth and lost all the features that come with it. I like the 7” screen, how visibly appealing it is and it’s ease of use.

My husband bought this for me and I love it. Very easy to use. This have a much larger screen than others so easy to see the map. I am still learning all that it does.

It has all the details I wanted in a GPS. I needed it for a rental car while my car was being repaired.

It works as it advertised. Reason I gave a 4 is voice detection don't work well. Maybe if you speak with an accent LOL I don't know for sure. Even hubby tried, still no good. But one thing I can be sure of, cracks both of us up!

The larger screen on the Garmin DriveSmart 65 is an essential feature. Being new in town, we have to rely on the GPS to get us where we want to go. The visibility in the car, including when you are driving with sunglasses, makes the Garmin an outstanding product. We purchased two of these devices, one for my wife's car and one for my car.
