GPS better than my phone

Outstanding Customer Service

I bought this unit because I had just purchased a 2006 motorhome and it was located at a dealer in Georgia and I live in the Metro Detroit Area. So, on the return trip of 625 miles, I needed to depend on this GPS because I didn't want to have to keep glancing at my iPhone 12 Pro Max! Leaving GA at 4am, there were no immediate issues, but after an hour or so, my screen went almost black! Just when I needed it the most! Screen had arbitrarily reduced to 40% brightness! This is AFTER I had set the display to NEVER dim. Pulled over at the next safe place to do so and reset the display setting. However, it did it again after approx. 1 hour or so! After contacting Garmin and thoroughly explaining the issue, they sent me a brand NEW replacement GPS. Customer Service is OUTSTANDING and because of their quick response to my problem, I have to rate this at 5-stars. I do like this unit and it will serve me well in the motorhome. My 2021 Ford F-150 has it's own excellent GPS so this unit will remain in the motorhome and will serve me well. Buy this GPS...you won't be sorry. I know, I'm not!

I had a Garmin GPS previously and it was fabulous. It was just too old to update anymore. This is why I purchased another Garmin GPS system. Perfection .

Didn't work for me

My blue tooth kept on dropping connection and had to return device to store, no fault of the device , It was a problem with my phone

A learning curve
