We seitched one out for this upright freezer. It's SO much better! Now we don't have to take everything out to see what we have underneath everything else. And I love the digital thermostat.

The alarm never went off, not sure if is because the temp drop was not due to an open door. I set it to quick freeze, 24 hrs later the unit is still not up to temp. This unit looks good and has some nice features but is not worth the money if you lose your food supply especially if that cost more the the unit itself. Make sure you get insurance.
