Interesting that the instructions state to leave 7.9" of space between the sides of freezer and the walls. 3.9" of space between the back of the freezer and wall. The sides do get fairly warm at times.

It has an amazing amount of storage space in it and can easily store $600 worth of meat, frozen pizzas, cheese, gallons of milk, etc. to keep the shopping trips down to once every two weeks. Allows you to buy meat on sale (if that is a thing anymore, kind of like trying to find a white rhino in mid-2020) to save money.

If you’re walking away and let it close on its own it could bounce back and stay open. I only had it a week before losing some food due to this. Because I didn’t feel like dealing with a return. I bought a baby latch. It makes us hand close it and insures it doesn’t pop open either. Other than that it does it job.

Perfect size for 2 for holding about 3-4 mos. worth of food. So far no problems.
