On 3 occasions we have walked in to the food totally defrosted. The first time we thought someone must have left it open, trashed the food, and restarted. The second time we were scratching our heads, the third time we saw that the door will open on its own for some strange reason, At this point, it has caused us money and I am disappointed. This is my third standing refrigerator freezer - and the only reason I bought this one was for aesthetics. I am disappointed. We never had a problem with the others.

When it was brought in to be used until a replacement, it would not begin to freeze. Destitute situation, I purchased a GE with another store and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Perhaps if the damage product had not happened I would feel different.
