Told me I could put all my drinks in right away. Later on in the day the cans of soda exploded! What a mess!! My brand new item took a long time to clean. There is still soda in the light!!

Two Damaged Units in a Row

After no help at customer service 800#, went to the local store to complain. The manager was very nice about it and arranged for a new unit to be delivered and the pick-up of old unit. Second unit arrived damaged with a small dent on front door and larger dent on side panel. Delivery driver tried to tell me that dent on front door came like that from the factory...yeah right! Complained to customer service and they are sending a $150 gift card. Using the second unit without problems...so far.

Warranty only covers the first 12 months. One repair guy wouldn’t even come look at it because parts are hard to find and the second one said it wasn’t worth it to fix. $300-$350 to replace the condenser. So if you get this I would get an extended warranty.

And if you call in and report an issue, they do troubleshooting and then tell you they have to escalate it up to 96 hours. Not 24-48… 96 hours to wait to even have your issue escalated up. I work for Home Depot, and every manufacturer has a better turn around, GE, LG, Samsung, Electrolux/Whirlpool… this will definitely be my last Insignia purchase
