    We bought this freezer on the 29th. It was delivered out on the 1st on the 9th after filling it full of meats the freezer went down, everything in the freezer was lost called bestbuy was told its my loss there's nothing they can do, Warning do not buy this piece of junk freezer... we already are having problems putting food on the table but to take a total loss like this is Devastating to say the least...

    Purchased on March 30th, stopped working on April 20th. Conveniently 3 days after the return window close. Don’t buy.

    The product seems fine overall but showed up with a broken glass plate. We've since been on hold with Best Buy for 3-4 hours getting the run around before they had us start over where we began.

    RUNS WARM - Keep a thermometer inside

    I’ve had a technician tell me to always keep a thermometer in your refrigerator and since then I always have! This fridge runs about 5-10° what I have it set on. Right now it’s set on 35° but the thermostat reads around 45°. I turned it down to 35° because my items in the fridge didn’t seem cold, only cool.

    THE WHOLE UNIT MOVES WHENEVER I OPEN DOOR!

    I am filled with SO MUCH REGRET after purchasing this appliance. I bought it to use as a deep freezer. The freezing element is great. Gets cold fast/freezes things quickly and does a deep freeze. However, when the power went out, my food didn't last long in here at all before it started thawing, which was super disappointing. The freezer section on my Samsung refrigerator held my food frozen for 3 days...whereas my food was thawing within 12 hours in this unit. That was kind of eye opening for me. But that's not the main basis for this complaint. Why I absolutely HATE HATE HATE this appliance is that EVERY SINGLE TIME I OPEN THE DOOR THE WHOLE UNIT MOVES. This has led to it scratching my wall (it's in my laundry room), and constantly being in the way of my other appliances and everything else. I have literally had to hold on to the freezer while I grab the door to open it to prevent it from sliding around everywhere. I spent over $800 on this thing w/warranty included and it is NOT worth it at all. I am going to try to sell it which I'll obviously lose money doing so, but I would rather just have to take that loss and buy something else rather than have to live with doing this every day. Such a waste and disappointment.

    Noisy. Sounds like a wounded cow moaning and groaning. NOT recommended. Still waiting on warranty service after several weeks of back and forth on the phone and email.

    I like the Freezer However I wish the door shelves were a little bit deeper, enough to hold a gallon size carton.

    2 years old and stopped working.Lost hundreds of dollars of food in freezer. Totally devastated. Lesson learned..BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY.

    The salesman was more interested in getting me to join the rewards club then letting me know my delivery would be weeks away. Instead he told us it was scheduled for Wednesday that next week. Time off work and phone calls was a total loss of about $250 for the day. Went in the store to talk to the manager and he said he couldn’t leave the podium by the front doors to have a conversation with a customer. My goigle review will say the same. Shame on you!

    Thought this was a great freezer until I came back from vacation to find it has died (after only 20 months!!!) and left me with 13.8 Cu.Ft. of thawed out food - which had to go into the trash ASAP for an untold of loss to go along with the $600 freezer. It appears the Geak Squad only services devices where the extra warranty was purchased on the website. Funny, this is supposed to be Best Buy's signature brand. Won't be shopping there again.

    Purchased 9/23/22. On 12/22/23 opened the door and everything was defrosting - no longer under warranty. They can't do the estimate to repair until 1/3/24. Major loss of food. The freezer was installed in a temperature controlled garage and clean environment. We purchased this to "upgrade" from an inexpensive chest freezer which worked flawlessly for years and was still working. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.

    Was only good for one year. Would not get below 40 degrees. Wish we would have kept our chest freezer that lasted us 20 years and was still going.

    Failed at 11 days

    The compressor failed 11 days after delivery. I noticed on day 10 that the compressor seemed to be running each time I walked past the freezer. Then, around 7 AM this morning I started hearing the "high temp" alarm. Thankfully, we had a thermometer sitting inside the freezer as the display is no longer reading a temp. I looked inside and the thermometer confirmed the temp is above freezing. I tried turning down the temp...nothing. I selected quick freeze...nothing. The compressor failed AFTER LESS THAN 2 WEEKS. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

    Stopped cooling after only 17 months. The display didn’t show any error codes. I tried unplugging it and letting it sit open for a day, but that didn’t make a difference. Without a warranty, I’ll have to pay $100 just to get the geek squad to look at it and give an estimate. Once we tack on parts and labor costs for an actual repair, it’s a better bet to buy a new fridge elsewhere. $550 down the drain!

    I have been using it in freezer mode for 15 months, just over a year, and it suddenly stopped cooling. The outside panel says it’s still 0 degrees, but it’s hot inside and will not cool down at all anymore. The freezer was completely full and all the food spoiled.
