This deep freezer is absolutely amazing! It’s the perfect size and keeps thing nice and frozen. Plus is it can also be a fridge if needed!

Delivered on time. Beautiful convertible freezer/refrigerator. Most manufacturers will give you one or the other. The price, the technology and space you get is worth it. You control the temperature setting. Built in LED lights. Ideal for homes, apt or condos with a deep freezer and want only a full refrigerator. You have the option to convert it to either refrigerator or freezer. It had wheels on the back and it can be pushed all the way to the wall if you wish. Excellent appliance. Good for a family of two - four. Great for storage. I’ve had it for about three weeks or more and received compliments. It’s not a modern smart refrigerator but it will provide you with what you need. Perfect for storage, just a refrigerator unit/stand up freezer. Plus you control the temperature settings for both.

Love this freezer/fridge! Will be buying another one to convert to a freezer. We can get so much in it and it keeps food at a perfect temperature. Looks so nice!

I bought this convertible UPRIGHT FREEZER as a replacement for a chest freezer of the same make from Best Buy, which performed admirably for longer than seven years. The Insignia 13.8 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Convertible Upright Freezer with ENERGY STAR Certification – White, blends in esthetically well and aligns with the existing appliance configuration in my kitchen. One month plus, since purchase and with Best Buy professional installation, the Insignia 13.8 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer has worked flawlessly, maintaining a constant temperature of -2 degrees Celsius, inside the freezer, as monitored and recorded by two digital wireless Fridge and Freezer thermometers, placed at different locations inside the freezer. The food items have remained well-preserved and access to them has been a breeze compared to having to dig through them when they were inside the freezer section of the regular refrigerator or the chest freezer.

This is great! It can work as a refrigerator OR freezer. It’s a great size and roomy. It’s exactly what we needed. Highly recommend

So far this has worked great. It can be all freezer or all refrigerator but not both. This is acting as our basement deep freeze. We now need a second refrigerator for our basement, so we are considering buying a larger version of this model to be the freezer and turn this smaller one into the fridge. It’s nice to have options.

we put this in our garage and we couldn't be happier with it. So much better than the tiny one in our kitchen.

I’ve been searching for an Upright Freezer for months. I’m not sure why many of the major brands are unavailable at the moment. It really doesn’t matter anymore because my Insignia Upright Freezer operates like any of the major brands around - maybe even better. I purchased the Stainless Convertible Freezer/ Refrigerator. It has more than enough room, is frost free, digital temperature reading and setting can easily be changed to freezer mode or refrigerator mode by the push of a button. I found it very easy to set up and the price was just right. Although, if the white freezer would have been available, I would have purchased that one instead, it was $100.00 lower than this one. I think Insignia is overall a quality brand because I own (4) Insignia TV’s and never had issues.

This is a huge freezer in a small footprint! The vertical design with glass see through shelves virtually revolutionizes the concept of a freezer. Very easy to use, access and store food. Sensible size door racks are great for holding frozen veggies / fries etc in the bags without cluttering the open shelving. Appearance is of a much more expensive item with the chrome front and outside digital temp display / adjustment. Overall one of the best value appliances I have ever purchased.

This has been the best little freezer we have ever had! It is big enough to store our food, and has shelving on the doors for little things. It is absolutely perfect.

Works very well, Wife is happy with it & so am I. We replaced a 37 year old Kenmore with this which still worked fine, The Insignia 13.8 is larger, brighter and stores food well.

I bought the Insignia 13.8 cu. ft. Upright Freezer to store my Elk Meat. This freezer runs quiet, maintains temperature, and I love that it is easily converted to a Refrigerator with the touch screen.

I love this freezer. It runs quietly. It is frost-free. And it is a stand-up freezer. All I have to do is open the door and I can see on every shelf what I have. This freezer holds a lot. I installed it in my laundry room. This was a great purchase. Thank you Best Buy!

We are using this as a replacement freezer since ours went bad. It is a great size and easy to use. The inside light and on the door temp is a great feature.

George & Frank arrived on time removed the old chest freezer and put the new one in. They were polite and professional. they did thorough explanation on how every works. The freezer is working great.

We were replacing a very unreliable chest freezer and are very happy with our purchase. I LOVE the upright freezer concept, so much easier to find what you have (especially for us short people). There are only two of us at home so we thought this size would be perfect but we almost wish we had gone up a size because we instantly filled it. Love the flash freeze feature as well and the option to use as a refrigerator should we ever decide to repurpose it. Definitely recommend.

I’ve had this Insignia 13.8 cu. ft. freezer for about three months and it’s been great so far. It gets very cold, the auto-defrost feature is a huge improvement over my old chest freezer, and the door gaskets create a nice tight seal. Seems well built and perfect for the garage.

Arrived and installed on schedule without any issues. Great size and love the shelves in the door for extra storage/organization.
