Great for use as freezer

Lots of usable room and all items easily accessible, which is the biggest issue with normal freezer chests. So far working perfectly as a back up freezer. All items perfectly frozen without any frost. Have not had any issue at all.

Good freezer, but hard to open

I usually have to yank hard two or three times to open it. I don't know if it has a vacuum seal or if the door seal is magnetized, but it takes much more force to open than our identically sized GE freezer.

Garage Freezer

It fits my space and freezes perfectly, the inside space works well. I will recommend it. It one thing that is annoying but I think best for the garage space and that is the suction on the door is very tight... sometimes the freezer moves when opened. Elaine

I have only used as a freezer, but like that I could switch if/when needed. I placed a separate thermometer and it shows a consistently freezing temperature. Keeps frozen foods frozen; that's all I can ask of it. But, it is a nice looking appliance too.
