We have had it for about a year and a half. It has survived 2 summers in a Texas garage, with this past summer being one for the record books. It's not much to look at but it does its job for freezer overflow items.

The only issue was the delivery process - promised date and time - lost work - the claim was the truck broke down - another day and time established... it happens when Best Buy uses another company to deliver - otherwise - very happy with the freezer!

I was skeptical at first. It took two days to get cold enough to freeze 7 one gallon water containers (I wanted to test it out before loading it with expensive groceries) Slowly started replacing the ice with food and I’m very happy to have the extra freezer storage. Freezer has a strong suction. I have to hold the top of the unit as I pull the door or else I’ll pull the fridge forward.Best buy did deliver the unit and I watched them take it out of the box, the fridge was dirty. Dirt and smudges all over. A few black scrapes along the bottom of the door. But with the pandemic and freezer being difficult to find, I didn’t complain. It’s going in the garage anyway. I haven’t test out the fridge setting. I think with the clear shelves, it’s kinds set up nicely for that. The shelves do kinda get frosty/ icy on the freezer setting.

This convertible freezer/refrigerator is perfect for my small space. I don’t need a freezer section as I have a chest freezer so this gives me extra refrigerator space! I love it

We really loved the upright convertible Freezer/Refrigerator we bought mainly as a refrigerator in the past. We bought this one to set side by side the other one we have to setup as a freezer. It is a little different in a few ways to the previous model, in that the lighting is much better, and the dividers are plexiglass instead of plastic covered metal. The plexiglass does seem to be a very good quality one though, heavy, and very sturdy. It has a nice feature in that it can flash freeze things going below -13 degrees Fahrenheit. We have 4 freezers, and this is by far the best one we have gotten. Love the fact, it will send me messages if the temperature goes to high, or somebody leaves the door open too long.

I bought this freezer/refrigerator to replace a chest style freezer. I chose the Insignia brand because I had experience with this brand and have not had any issues. I have had it about a month now and am really glad that I replaced the chest freezer with the standup type. It's really roomy and I would definitely buy this brand again.

I love this Freezer! When I open the door, a chime goes off & the outside information system gives me the internal temperature. I also love the continuous defrosting feature! There is a lot of space between the solid clear racks plus the inside door holders are secured so they won’t fall off when the door opens. And yet they are easy to remove!

Going from a larger chest model freezer to this upright model fit our circumstances perfectly. Everything regarding Best Buy’s service was equally excellent. Very happy with the entire process.

This is a great item. It allows me to have extra refrigerator area. I have a side by side and there is not enough space, to I love having this extra refrigerator

This garage freezer is just what I needed for food storage. I use it primarily for meats (purchased and harvested) and veggies from the garden. The shelving allows for easy organizing and access. No digging through deep-freezer for what you need. It's awesome!

Spacious freezer. A great change up from the usual chest design.

Quiet and does not cycle excessively. So far, so good. There’s a handy digital display on the door that’s programmed to display the internal temperature setpoint - a nice touch, but would be nice if it displayed the actual internal temperature somehow.

Its a great freezer and thinking about buying another one to use as a fridge in the garage

so far, so good. replaced an older Kenmore freezer that was running all the time. this one runs normally. bright interior light. cold air outlets do restrict where you can put a few things but we have managed.

I was pleasantly surprised that you could use it for a freezer and a fridge. This came in handy with Thanksgiving this year. This was a great investment that already paid dividends.
