I bought this freezer with installation service and three-year Geek Squad protection. The delivery was excellent. The delivery team called me 30 minutes before arrival. They handled the hauling and installation carefully. Surprisingly, the compressor is from Toshiba, and the freezer is made in Thailand. I suspect that Midea manufactured this freezer at a Toshiba factory, which Midea acquired several years ago.

It’s been perfect

I keep my freezer in the garage where it gets hot over the summer, but I had no issues with the heat. One thing I wish it had was an alert sound when the door is ajar. I always check to make sure I close the door completely.

The on-door temperature reading is a nice bonus. Wish there was a way to lock wheels once it is placed. The seal on the door is so tight that the freezer sometimes moves when opening door.
