After seeing that there was a cheaper alternative than Microsoft’s play and charge kit, I knew I had to get it. Any down sides you ask? Not really.

They are flush to the controller and use original controller battery cover. No need to take them out to charge, simply connect cable directly to controller

I was pleasantly surprised to see that it fits inside the standard battery door instead of coming with a new one like my old Xbox One charger did. My only issue with this device is that it doesn't show that the controller is charging on the Xbox menus. This is probably due to the 3rd party tech not quite meshing with the Xbox software. Overall good purchase though!

Doesn't have an indicator on the cable like the one made by Microsoft but it gets the job done. One thing I didn't see a lot of reviews mention is that the battery cover goes right back on without a problem.

Great Option

This is a much better option then going through batteries. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t charge when the Xbox is off. Besides that, it’s great!

They were going through the Energizer rechargeable batteries like crazy, and they just couldn't keep up. So we opted to give these a go and they are doing great. Kids are happy.

As first-time Xbox owners we had no idea the batteries were standard AAs. Cue us spending half an hour googling why our controllers won't charge. This is the perfect solution!

The cable that comes included is compatible with the newer xbox one controller. I have purchased other Insignia accessories and haven't experienced any problems with them. This kit includes 1 battery which will work with any Xbox One controller however, the charging cable is intended for the newer Gen which have a c-cable input. Love It.
