This Chromecast is very snappy, when it comes to using the apps built into the television. I had an issue with my sound bar not taking over audio when using apps built into the TV and using the Chromecast fixed that. I did not sign up for YouTube TV, but this works fine with all of the streaming services that are configured to be used with it. the remote is a little small, much smaller than the Roku, so that is a bit of a negative. The remote also is pretty slippery.

One of the easiest streaming sticks to use. Easy setup. Quick response. Controls your sound system and TV.

Excellent picture (4K) on our bedroom tv. Extremely easy to set up using my phone as the driver.

I love it. It's the best interface out of all the streaming systems. And I can also cast from my phone to me tv.

I have so much experience with streaming boxes & devices. By far this is the best experience ever with any kind of streaming device. It's currently the only streaming device that supports all the apps and in their max resolution! Also having the ability to do Dolby Atmos is the icing on the cake. Very smooth & easy to use by far. I love the fact that you can side load apps in developers mode! The best streaming device and it's only $50 bucks!

I didn’t understand “cord cutting” until I got Chromecast with the Google remote. Now I get it. We can cast from the iPhone, iPad and even the laptop PC. We can cast pages, tabs or files from the Chrome browser to our TV. It’s a basic LCD, but becomes a “smart TV” with this device. It’s been fun to revisit the 1at season of “Saturday Night Live” on Peacock. This inexpensive and simple little device is amazing. Highly recommended.

This is the device I've been looking for since cutting the cord. So easy to search across all my service and love being able to see available shows without needing to launch each service one by one. It ties in excellently with Google Tv for live tv, and with the unlimited DVR on that service I have a streaming beast now. The remote is a most welcome addition and voice search works great so far. Integrated with Google home as well, so can control from Nest as well.

I use the chrome cast on two tvs, one is an HDTV without apps and the other is a kitchen TV that is not heavily used. This lets us stream all of our favorite shows or live sports when we are not around our main TV with the cable box. Since they are infrequently used, it’s great to pay once instead of monthly for HD content, and the interface is sooo much better than FiOS or Xfinity.

Very easy to install and use. And the control remote gives it a plus. The search feature is great

HBO max and the ability to cast from my phone is the reason I got this. I don't really care for the remote control. It's just awkard to use. If you own fire stick there's not much learning curve here. It looks almost the same. Pictures looks good in 4K and HD. Overall, it's a good device. Google is heading the right direction instead of casting it a phone and tablet on the earlier model. I still perfer ROKU though. It got cleaner and easy to use interface and run much smoother, plus it got a USB input on the top model where you can play all kind of videos in various formats from USB stick or portable hard drive.

Android on your tv what more needs to be said here. Google makes some of the best software out there and this is no exception. Ive used many roku, fire stick and apple tv before i finally settled on this for my daily driver. I HIGHLY suggest getting yourself a silicone skin for the remote as its very egg-like and slick to the touch and easy to drop. Using voice commands with google assistant is just awesome!

Its simple technology and works like a wonder. Bought it because we lost the remote to the one we already had in the move. But now that Google has remote control apps we're good. But, I'm keeping this one for another tv in the house. Its that good and that simple. And google is slowly catching up to having more than one account on the device. That's a good development. I look forward to seeing what they do next.

A step up from other streaming devices. Love the interface and ease of use!

There really is nothing better when it comes to streaming services I mean this thing is awesome it's fast and sufficient then you can even hook a USB hub to it too I have it be compatible with an external hard drive or a flash drive if you will. I actually made this an emulation machine with the attachment of a 1 TB external hard drive if you're looking for what's better Amazon fire stick or Google Chromecast I highly highly highly recommend this product right here

We have a samsung tv. It was slowing down. Plugged this in and made it much faster thanks to recpmmmdations of a few co workers. Grandma found a french tv ahow that wasnt reqlly available xfinity wise so that was also a plus!
