The drive had Windows 10 installed on it and my other drive had various flavors of gnu/linux on it. The replacement was easy though I had to get an adapter due to the smaller size of the SSD. I used the utility at Samsung website to clone the drive so Windows 10 was on it. After removing the old hard drive, I repartitoned the drive and put a couple of linux distrobutions on it. The SSD boots up very fast and works great booting to either Windows 10 or linux.

You want something reliable from a proven name. You want speed and you want a good capacity. Look no further than this sweet SSD drive! Boot times went from 5 minutes on an old platter drive to 40 seconds. Worth it!

Or even desktop and normal office programs this ssd is awsome. But if your looking for gaming stuff M.2 is the best. Bit for everyday use of apps and programs this is it.

Fixed my computer

The Geek Squad was very helpful, and I signed up with them as a result of their great customer service. Did not need to invest in a new computer. I have since purchased a new printer from Best Buy because of the service I received with my computer.
