They are SATA, so of course not the fastest speeds. On the other hand, I mainly use them for mass storage and games, so that's not a critical lack. A 1TB Samsung SSD also did fine as a boot drive, back before I had a motherboard with a M.2 slot.

Awesome file transfer speeds, files over 80GB each

The QVO is fine for small to medium file sizes, but I usually deal with files sizes north of 80GB, at which is QVO slows down to HDD speeds. This EVO keeps up with my high data ingestion of video footage perfectly fine, and keeps speeds multiple times higher than what an HDD would.

Great alternative to HDD

I got this to replace a WD drive that was really noisy when reading and writing. In my setup I have a SSD for Boot and this for storage of large files along with OneDrive.
