JUST WHAT I NEEDED VERY COMPACT, FAST, AND A LARGE AMOUNT OF SPACE.

My dell m 6800 needed more space. I got this. Cloned my old 1 gig ssd onto it. Wiped the 1tb, put them back in. Bingo worked perfrctly. And since its 2gig not 1 gig, i went into windows 10 disk manager and created a partition from the remaining 1tb

Connected it to my older computer, copied all my data, moved it to my new computer. All my files were right where I needed them. Very fast for what I needed. Plenty of space, fits into small area inside new computer.

I had purchased a 1TB version for an older Lenovo laptop so I knew that this would be an excellent upgrade for my other laptop computer. Excellent speed with lots of storage capacity. Happy with this upgrade to my HP laptop. This brings my laptop up to speed! Great buy!!

Does what it says very well. Use it as a second drive for development work, bought it for the TBW endurance. So far, ~2 years later, it still works great!

Does everything it needed to. The software for transferring from my old HDD worked without a hitch.

This SSD is great for storage and everyday computing - as well as gaming. I have a couple of these and specifically use it for my OS and basic programs only. The other drive is used forback up - including a fully functional OS. I highly reccommend - best to grab when it's on sale.

I had been looking for a 2 TB that had good reviews and for the price to be moderate. This was just right for me and found easily. When I installed it on my computer, I could see and feel the diferente. It has worked perfectly and completely recommended it.

Just as described. This little drive has given me great video gaming, reliability and piece of mind, consistently for over two years. Would buy again if it were available...

I just used this to replace my sister's failing laptop HDD. Worked great, and is way, way faster than her old drive! I've had a number of these SSDs for years and they have been incredibly reliable. Would recommend!

Samsung solid state drives seem to just always work. I keep getting them because I have never had one crash on me. They are fast drives and I use them to update older drives instead of replacing the entire computer.

I'm of two minds on the 870 Evo, but it's a pretty technical reason. Overall, the drive works quite well as the secondary drive in my Linux mini-PC. Perfect for VM images and large video/audio files. That's why I rated this five stars, as this purchase works perfectly for what it was intended to do. However, a small warning for those who might stick this into a server: Take the time to ensure there won't be firmware issues. I thought a few of these at the low price would be a nice way to fill the internal bays on a slightly older HP DL580 server in our datacenter. However, I ran into serious firmware issues that eventually we solved, but it took more time than I saved by buying them instead of a more standard enterprise SSD. Caveat Emptor.

This hard drive was simple to install and really helped speed up my PC.

Needed more space for all my games on my computer. Pretty quick hard drive for a good price. Plenty of room with the 2Tb. My computer didn't recognize it by itself but you can YouTube how to add a hard drive. Up and running in 2 minutes.

Samsung - 870 EVO 2TB Internal SSD SATA works perfect to my old HP PC and it was one of my best decision of the year!
