I did not want to buy my 11-year-old a brand-new Macbook and decided to buy this one instead. The packaging was not great, and the charger looked a little dirty, but the Macbook worked perfectly, and she didn't realize it was new.

You hear so many horror stories about them but this one was a breeze and worked great out the box. Best Buy delivered in days and it came sooner than was expected … Best Buy does it again!

She loves the Apple computers. The reverb was not an issue. All good and saved some money. I'd never buy a refurb of a cheap windows PC. No sweat with Apple.

Just fair!

The battery health says 99%, but it drops pretty quickly, even with just 2 apps on and low screen brightness. I'm certain it can't last up to 6hrs with moderate usage. It also heats up more than expected. However, it looks okay, although with a minor dent in the top left corner. It comes with a charger. I'd rather buy a refurbished one directly from Apple since it comes with a new shell and a new battery..which are 2 of the major things that matter. Of course, you pay a bit more for the Apple refurbished.

First one it started glitching a Lot dying fast & heating up and the 2nd one was good until my screen snapped soon as I was opening my laptop open and did not apply much pressure on the screen to snap like that and turn my whole screen black. I now changed to HP and am no longer getting Mac books due to a history of how long they last me even taking good care of them.
