It is also a lot quieter and it does a wonderful job washing and drying the laundry. I have no complaints about this product.

They are lovely to look at and are easy to use as the "buttons" are in the middle for both units....

We switched from GE to LG after the GE’s kept going out on us. As a result of the problems with the GE’s, we wanted LG because of the fact that they will communicate with the phone and alert us as to the issue and whether or not a tech is needed. Washer and dryer has standard cycles, but if you add the app to your phone and connect the units to your network, you can push other cycles to the units. They will also alert you when the cycle is complete. It also offers a night fresh mode so the clothes will tumble at night quietly. These are great units and my wife couldn’t be happier.
