I got the Ninja Foodi 6 in 1 10 qt XL Dual Zone fryer mainly for the dual zone feature. As a single guy, the 5 quart capacity is plenty for any single thing I would like to cook, but by far the best aspect of this fryer is the ability to cook 2 different things at once, different temps or cooking types, that take a different amount of time per item. The Ninja Foodi has a feature where it can syncronize the cooking times so that they finish at the same time. This is really awesome as other cooking methods just don't do nearly as good a job as an air fryer, so you would otherwise have to settle for cooking your 2nd menu item in the microwave, on the stove, or in the oven; and then of course you still have to figure out when to start each thing. With the Smart Finish feature, you just tell the fryer what each side needs to be cooked at and for how long, and it delays one so that they finish simultaneously. I tested this feature out immediately doing Fish and Chips; frozen fish filets on one half at 11 minutes; with french fries in the other half at 17 minutes. Both turned out crispy and hot, much better than what the oven could do for either one, and significantly faster as well. A few days later, my next big test was bacon wrapped jalepeno poppers, stuffed with a mixture of cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and paprika. I have included the before and after photos, which don't do the final result justice as all. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the jalepenos had a wonderful crispness as well, and the filling turned beautiful shades or gold, orange and brown, creating a perfect crust on top while leaving a hot, creamy center. They were the best popper I have ever had, and have made a 2nd, equally delicious batch this evening which motivated me to write this review. The final thing I noticed about the fryer, which I think is due to the smaller individual sections, is that it cooks faster than my previous 7 quart fryer. Not sure if that's because with less surface area to heat, it's more efficient, or some other reason, but if you get this fryer, check your food a minute or 2 earlier than what you normally air fry for, you might find that this saves you time compared to whatever you used previously. Not only does this do an amazing job, but I believe it looks better than every other air fryer out there. The dark gray and stainless combination is very sharp. The display is bright and easy to read with large text. In closing, whether you need an extra large capacity fryer and will be using both sides to cook a super sized portion of one thing; or you often cook 2 dishes and want to use the air fryer for both, this is exactly what you want. I have several Ninja appliances and even Ninja Foodi cookware; everything they make is of top notch quality. Ninja products often cost more than similar products by competing brands, but in this case you truly get what you pay for. The quality and features are worth the cost, and I predict that I will get significantly more life out of this fryer compared the ones I have owned previously. I give it an enthuiastic 5 star rating and would recommend this product to everyone.

Ninja Foodi's 6 in 1 XL (5 at) dual zone smart cook system air fryer is the newest product that Ninja just released. The first thing that stands out on this air fryer is the size of the two big baskets which are enough to cook two dishes simultaneously for a large family. The second thing I noticed is it automatically adjusts the start time (match cook) on dual baskets (different food, different temperatures, different cook times, perfect doneness) to make sure they are ready at the same time - this is the best part of their smart cook system! They definitely took the cooking in the air fryer to a whole new level. This one still has the nice functions that you want in a single air fryer- Air Fry, Air Broil, Roast, Bake, Reheat, and Dehydrate. The third best thing is its IQ boost function that automatically distributes the power across each basket to quick food in both zones as quickly as possible without selecting the match cook or smart finish - haven't tested this function fully with meat products. This comes handy when cooking a whole chicken + fries at the same time -my next meal! My initial reaction was the right crispiness I saw on all the food (chicken wings, veg tempura, whole chicken, fries, roasted vegies) I cooked so far, took the guess work out of the equation. The meat thermometer/temperature probe attachment that came with the air fryer is pretty handy. The baskets and grill plates are dish washer safe. Digital screen, touch controls, right shape and size adds to the aesthetics of my kitchen appliances - yes, I love tech on my kitchen appliances and nothing wrong in showing off the big air fryer to the guests :-) Nothing beats the value to the price on this air fryer compared to what's in the market today. This was a major upgrade from my one-year-old XL air fryer, and I am thoroughly enjoying it, amazed at how fast it cooks and the crispiness I get on everything I cook. I pretty much use it every day now!

I absolutely love this air fryer. The dual baskets make it incredibly convenient to cook two different foods at the same time, and both cook evenly and quickly. The controls are simple to use, the touch panel is responsive, and cleaning is very easy. I’ve used it for chicken, veggies, and fries, and everything comes out crispy and delicious. Great quality, great size, and a great addition to my kitchen. Highly recommended!

I’ve used an air fryer from time to time and have had great results in cooking. The biggest problem I had before is that with a single basket cooking a meal for family took an extended amount of time. So needless to say my previous air fryer wasn’t utilized as much as I would have liked. When I came across the Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 10qt XL 2 Basket Air Fryer with DualZone Technology & Smart Cook System, I had to have it. This Ninja Foodi air fryer came with loads of features. Some of them are dual zone technology, smart cook, air fry, air boil, roast bake, reheat and dehydrate. It has two independent cook zones with a wide range of temperature for cooking. My favorite of all, is the two independent cooking zones utilizing the 5 qt. cooking basket. First of all, set up was practically nonexistent. I read over the provided manuals and washed the basket and grate. Then to sanitize the system I placed the baskets back into their slots, turned the Foodi to air fry at 400 degrees, pressed the match cook button and ran that for about 10 minutes. Once I run that cycle I was ready to try it out. The first thing I cooked in my new Ninja Foodi Air Fryer were some tater tots and chicken nuggets just to see how the dual zones worked. Utilizing the match cook feature, I was able to cook this meal and have both items finish cooking at the same time. It’s quite impressive to set the two zones to cook different foods and have them both finish cooking at the same time. So no more food getting cold waiting to cook on thing or another to cook. My favorite meal so far in the Ninja Foodi was fried chicken thighs. For a family of 4, I was able to cook some of the best fried chicken I have made to date. After letting the thighs marinate in some olive oil and spices. I was able to place 4 thighs per basket and within 20 minutes I had perfectly air fried chicken. My wife and kids loved them. Before cooking them, my wife wasn’t convinced that they’d be any good, but after eating them she raved about how good they turned out. I have to say, Ninja knocked this one out of the park. I have thoroughly enjoyed cooking with the Foodi dual zone air fryer. It quickly cooks a meal and at the end cleans up easily. I now look forward to cooking because it takes most of the work out of cooking. Fun and easy to use, you won’t regret picking this unit up.

Great deal an outstanding Air Fryer with double the cooking power and options for meal choices.

Bad product, it’s been 2 weeks since i bought this, while cleaning the external back area of the fryer, i noticed a dent, from the rear top cover, it’s melting! That could a cause FIRE! If not attended. Beware of this model.. for safety reasons..

I love my air fryer, it cooks great! This is a great way to cook healthier. The food comes out as though it's fried, but without using grease. It's easy to use and enough to fit a whole chicken in a compartment. You can cook 2 different things at the same time. It looks great when placed on the counter

Available now is Ninja's Foodi Smart XL 2-Basket Air Fryer. It offers a variety of cooking options. The package comes with the air fryer and paperwork only. The manufacturer's warranty is for 1 year. PROS: --------- * Solid build, durable construction * Easy-to-use controls, Ninja keeps it simple * Included is a food thermometer which you can use for certain foods while cooking (ie. whole mini-chicken); however, I did not use this option since I did use food that required this. * Having the option to cook 2 things at once but finish at the same time is the best feature about this small appliance. * The bins are non-stick and clean easily * The removable pan at the bottom of each bin has rubber pieces at the corners to keep it in place when you need to shake the bin or empty it out. This keep the bottom from falling on top of your food if you turn it upside down. I'm unsure how the rubber will hold up over time though. I found that using tongs to get some items out worked great too. * Dishwasher safe bins and inside trays may make it easier for some people. Given these have rubber stops on the corners of the inside plates, I personally like to hand-wash those so they will last longer. * If you have 2 of the same item to cook (or "like" items) that require identical temps and times, there is a function you can use called Match Cook which will match both bins' temp/times with the press of a button. CONS: --------- * The rubber feet/grips holding the bottom plates in the bins can create enough friction that might make them a little tough to pull out because of the limited space to put your fingers on the center "pull" area. OTHER OBSERVATIONS: ------------------------------------ * A misconception regarding this machine's Smart Finish function (and one I had at first) is that if you enter 2 different items to cook at different temperatures with different times, this machine DOES NOT cook them both at the same time while adjusting temperatures so they finish at the same time. It's a much more BASIC concept. The machine simply doesn't start cooking the less-timed item until the clock counts down from the other time and hits that time. While the longer-timed item is cooking, the other item is simply "On-Hold" and sits there. Now depending on how long that hold time is may determine whether or not you want to cook both at once (if an item can't be thawed for extended time). * It has spacers on the back side to prevent the unit from being flush against a wall or other item. See picture. * I found that most of the cooking times are usually on the upper end of the time range to get to the correct "doneness", especially raw chicken wings and raw potatoes. On "already-cooked" frozen items, this was not an issue. CONCLUSION: ============ Disclaimer: I only used this small appliance as an "air fryer". It claims to have other functions like bake, reheat, roast, and dehydrate, but frankly, if I'm going to bake something with LESS of a mess, I can simply use a small portable oven. It's much easier to clean a baking tray (or no mess at all if you put down aluminum foil) than have to clean an air fryer basket and tray. So for my purposes, I only air-fried items since that's really the main function of the appliance. I cooked raw cut potatoes, frozen chicken wings, frozen chicken strips, frozen chicken nuggets, and frozen fries. Everything turned out great, and cooking 2 different items at different temps/times worked out really well. All items were cooked thoroughly including the raw items, and they turned out very tasty. If you like a more crispy french fry, you will want to cook on the upper end of the time range suggested in the booklet. Be sure to toss the contents of the basket 1-2 times during cooking or they may cook uneven or stick together. Overall, a great product that gives the options for multi-food cooking. With my other air fryer, I could only cook 1 thing while I baked my other item in a nearby small oven. Now I can do it all at once while using Smart Finish to have it complete at the same time. Great product! Definitely recommend.

I love my new Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 dual basket air fryer. It comes in handy during the summer when it's hot outside and I don't want to heat up the kitchen and for when I want to cook healthier with little to no oil. It allows me to cook two things at once so I can cook wings and tots or a whole chicken and a vegetable. One side has a thermometer so I can put bigger cuts of meat in that side and feel confident it'll come out perfectly done. The air fryer is easy to clean, too. The drawers can be cleaned with soapy water, or if you don't want to do that, you can use paper or silicone inserts to keep the inside of your air fryer cleaner. The air fryer isn't overly tall either so it will easily fit on the counter under cabinets. It would make an excellent gift for newlyweds, or college kids, or anyone who wants to eat healthier. It's so versatile!

I've only had this for a little but i absolutely love it! Those nights that i have so much going on that idont have time to cook a meal and i can still cook healthy meals for my family. Its quick and easy to use. The dual baskets is the way to go because i can cook 2 things at once. Also the cleanup on the baskets is so easy. I've wanted an airfryer for years. Best buy had such an amazing deal when i was finally in the market for one.

After 4 month the handles started to flake. Ninja is charging us to fix. They are saying it is not a warranty issue this is just ware and tear

Easy to use and cook two different things at the same time with different temperatures and settings. This is a large air fryer but still doesnt take up a ton of space on the counter. Is light so if you have to move it before and after use you can. Best part is no more waiting on oven to pre heat.

It's flexible, it's reliable, it's probably the best air fryer we're ever had as a family. First time using the temperature probe we were able to get a medium rare Prime Rib edge to edge. Perfectly browned crust underneath the broiler too. It's also surprisingly really really easy to clean, since both baskets fit into the dishwasher. 11/10.

My family has enjoyed owning our single basket air fryer, which was great for bringing frozen food to life with no oil and has saved us a lot of money from eating out. The Ninja offers those same great basic benefits with double the capacity and some very handy features to make the whole process easier. (((Pros))) 1. We have owned a few Ninja products and they have all been reliable, well designed, and well built. This dual air fryer is no exception: Everything fits together well and there is a storage compartment for the meat probe. It is very easy to clean: The baskets are non-stick and can just be rinsed with some soapy water and wiped out. The control panel is smooth and easy to wipe off. There are also built-in handholds in the case for easy carrying. 2. The controls are easy to use and understand. There are quick reference instructions on the sides of the case and a detailed instruction manual. The drawers are labeled on the handles and line up with the selector for that drawer. The meat probe is slotted so it can only be plugged in the correct way and there is a built-in notch for the cord in drawer 1. There is a pause button that lets you flip and resumes where you left off on both drawers to keep them in sync. (((Experience))) We loved the feature called Smart Finish where the air fryer can hold one side so that they both finish at exactly the same time. 1. We cooked our usual fish sticks and fries as a quick snack for the kids. This time the fries were done exactly at the same time as the fish sticks - no waiting. Everything was cooked perfectly. 2. Next we decided to use the small recipe book that is included to make something for the adults. We decided to try the chicken and Brussels sprouts that are shown right on the box. We used Smart Finish, but this time we used the meat probe to set a pre-set temperature for chicken and followed the instructions for timing on the Brussels sprouts. Everything came out great. The chicken had a nice crisp on the skin, was moist on the inside and the Brussels sprouts were done at the same time. Up next we are going to try Match Cook, which allows you to use one setting to control both baskets, to make different flavored wings at the same time. (((Things to Consider))) 1. The cord is only 33" long and you need to find a spot with a 15amp breaker without a lot of other appliances on it. We tripped our breaker the first time and had to move to another outlet (for some reason our fridge, island outlets and microwave are on the same circuit). 2. I think the size is great for the capacity it offers, and it actually stays pretty cool, but it is about 5" wider than our old single air fryer so you have to have some counter space.
