Very impressed with Little camera! It's very compact and super easy to use. One button and I'm recording. It wasn't too hard to figure out how to use it without needing the phone. I actually prefer not needing to get into the app now, it's just much less distraction and very convenient. The battery life is decent, it's not gonna last all day of nonstop recording, but it does charge pretty quick if you're able to top it off in between clips. I'd say that's really the only negative I can say about it, it lacks the ability of a removable battery. Also got a great deal on an open box special from Best Buy so I'm very happy overall.

Great image quality, short non-removable battery life. Not having screens is a blessing and a curse.
Image quality has all you could ask for. Stabilization is incredible. Battery lasts about an hour - and then you need to plug it in again!

I recently got my hands on the Hero 11 Mini GoPro, and I am absolutely loving it! This little action camera is a game-changer for my adventures. Its compact size is perfect for my on-the-go lifestyle, and I can easily capture all the thrilling moments without any hassle. The video quality is fantastic, and I'm amazed by how smooth and clear the footage turns out, especially with the built-in stabilization. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of larger models, the Hero 11 Mini GoPro suits my needs perfectly, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's become an essential companion for all my adventures, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable and portable action camera.

We got a good deal on this, $130. but the battery life is short in my opinion and if you have the settings on high quality it will overheat in 15-20 minutes. We used it to mount on our SXS to ride in WV, it worked very well for low quality and short 10 minute videos. We got about 4 hours of recording and still had 20% battery left. So for our purposes it did well, but check on what you are expecting vs what it provides.

Upgrading after about 10 years of infrequent use of a Hero 3. Definitely well built, captures great video. Waterproof on its own/without an additional case. Fun add for family vacation. It does heat up quickly and the battery does seems limited, but you're super high-res video on a handheld camera, have realistic expectations and buy another battery. At the BB Drop price, well worth it.

This was an excellent purchase! I love the ease and durability of use. I got this to stream with Game Changer and is by far a great investment for such streaming. I wish the battery life was longer, but hooking up to an external battery pach is no problem!

The only issue i have is with over heating other than that its a perfect mini camera that can shoot in 5.3k. But when its inside with no airflow it can start overheating in as little as 8 minutes but its still a great camera other than that

The GoPro HERO11 Black Mini is super small and light, perfect for running track. It doesn't get in the way, and the video looks really clear. I like how easy it is to use and carry. Great for recording races or training!

Great Secondary Action Camera
|

I've owned a few action cameras over the years - including a GoPro Session and other brands. It's nice to have the functionality of a screen, but sometimes it is unnecessary and adds risk of damage. Thus, I was looking forward to trying this GoPro Hero11 Mini.
The setup is identical to any GoPro device, done via app after a firmware update. I tested it a few times and purchased a Chesty to compare it to my older GoPro cameras. Because it isn't as wide, it's not as in the way. The picture quality seems to be a step up from previous models; however, the camera does lack the ability to take still photos. (You can capture a frame from a live video.) I believe that my iPhone takes better video overall, but this GoPro is definitely a better choice for action video. The updated battery lasts noticeably longer than previous models.
I feel that this is a handy action camera for use with drones and as a body cam (eg., for activities such as mountain biking or skiing), but I still prefer the functionality of a screen. In other words, I think this model would be excellent as a secondary camera.

Very good as a second camera. It doesn't have a preview screen on it. You use your phone app to view what you are recording. The picture recording quality is amazing and totally makes up for it. I still would recommend for the video quality!

This little guy may be small but is just as powerful as it’s big bro! Perfect camera dor FPV or other sports where small form factor is important. This cam is also SUPER easy to use. I do have a few gripes though: if you shoot in 120FPS it will automatically make certain parts in slow-mo. Kinda annoying but oh well. And the second issue is overhating (as everyone has said) but honestly it rarely overheats and I take a cup of ice water out and submerse it when im going to be filming a lot on a hot day.

Know what you arent getting by going mini: external batteries, photo mode, webcam support, on screen controls, vlogging capabilities. With that in mind, if you want the best video quality and stabilization a tiny package can provide, the mini is identical to its bigger counterpart and a good deal more durable. Go pro accessories can be a significant cost, so if you require a certain mounting style I would factor that into your purchase. Second hand accessories, or third party models like those from insignia can save alot of money here.

It's not exactly "mini" lol sure it's not as wide on the width scale, but the depth is pretty large. I also dislike that the battery is not removable. The good is that the mount points are built-in to the cameras body and there are two of them. The body does feel very sturdy. Overall expected GoPro quality of construction and video, It just wasn't quite what I was looking for to replace my Hero 5. FYI turns out I could upgrade for $100 to a hero 12. W00t!
