All our frozen food is aa wasted. That's a full freezer full. Unit acted like it's working. Power on but did not freeze. Thought it will take a few showers to freeze. Did not know it did not freeze thill the next morning when ice cream became milk shake. Placed thermometer to see what's the reading. 47 degree and was plugged in and the light works. A freezer at 47 degree. I might as well leave it outdoor instead of paying for a new freezer. Best Buy did replace with a new replacement and seems to be working so far. I am very disappointed about the amount of $$ lost on my frozen food and no QC check to see if the unit is working before shipping it out to the customers.

Frigidaire freezer review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to love this freezer but we've had two issues within the past year- both causing the freezer to thaw out pretty much completely and us having to throw out a huge quantity of food! one within the manufacturers warranty. I know this isn't the case for all but it is for us. otherwise has good door and shelf space and has a nice quick freeze functionality.

Rapid freeze is extremely useful as I often wrap dumplings and it helps the dumplings to freeze quicker and before the juice soaks into the wrap and become soggy. The diff spacing in the shelves are very handy for my batch cooking for soup broth

Do NOT buy this 20 CF Frigidaire Freezer. - We owned a Frigidaire freezer for 15+ years, and it worked like a champ. Based upon that experience, we chose to replace that unit with this bigger one. - We purchased this unit in July 2024 (along with the Best Buy Extended Warranty.) It has failed twice under the Frigidaire standard first year warranty. - It initially failed in April 2025. We lost about $1,000 in food. Online, Frigidaire claims they will cover $250 in spoilage, but they refused our claim. Frigidaire sent a local 3rd party repair company to service the unit. Instead of inspecting the primary freezer component and doing the repair right, they replaced a part which was easily for them to access. - The freezer failed again 2 months later in early June 2025. This time Frigidaire sent their own repair person who immediately identified the issue (the main freezing component behind the inside panel was covered with frost for some reason.) He mentioned the new units which are digital do not hold up like our previous freezer. More food spoilage, and weeks of the freezer alarm going off about once every 1-2 hours, including all through the night which has kept our dog awake. - Our unit was supposed to be repaired on 6/16/25, but they cancelled that appointment. Frigidaire staff has been friendly, however, this process has been horrible. Our unit is now due to be repaired on 6/25. Unit is currently unplugged.

Good Freezing
