The set up process posed challenges for me. The first time, I set up the printer, a felt piece came out with the paper. After replacing the printer 2 more times with HP due to set up and paper feed issues, I finally got one of their printers to work. Working w/ HP support took up a lot of my time when I needed a working printer. So these were issues with HP, not Best Buy.

It’s a great printer but, because I’m of a certain generation there’s too much superfluous stuff you have to do, create pins and passwords, download software, I was just hoping to add the ink cartridges, plug in and start printing…I miss those days.

My last OfficeJet Pro lasted ten years and was awesome with HP Instant Ink. This one is working well as the successor.

Being a money-conscious older person, I appreciate having the option in ink purchasing -- one color, or the whole kit. The information on the printer leaves no doubt about what is going on, and it keeps me cued to the process of printing. The outcome is clear and clean.

Being 70 it took a while to get to work. Not easy notes if not computer literate.

A necessary tool to copy many documents in business. A must! Ink is a little bit more expensive.

Disappointed. Very slow to start printing. Does not have automatic two sided printing. My previous HP All-in-One Printer was much faster and could print two sided.

I have experienced several issues with this printer. First the cord did not fit properly. Contacted HP and after much back and forth they finally agreed to send a new cord. Much better fit. Then I had printing issues. Yesterday, I got an error when trying to scan and couldn’t shut the printer down. Finally, unplugged and then got my scan job done. I had an HP all-in-one printer for 6 years and it operated seamlessly until it didn’t. I am disappointed with this printer.

Have manual on how to setup which was included with printer. Easy to setup.

It would not connect to my network using my desktop, so I tried my laptop and that worked. My first location for the printer was too close to the router. It fouled up the wifi connection to my phone and tablet. I moved it to the other side of my study and that solved that. I have not done much printing, but it seeems to work well.

Excellent Printer, easy setup and functionality is awesome. It stays n Wi-Fi and doesn't get kicked off Wi-Fi like my old printer.

I am so disappointed in this HP printer. I've always bought HP, and this is the first time I don't like a printer. I don't do a lot of printing, just personal use, yet the ink cartridges run out extremely quick. They are really small. The levels show there is still some ink left in the cartridge when they get low; however, when I print, it comes out like there is no ink in the cartridge at all. So, I'm having to replace cartridges that should still be good. The cartridges are so expensive. Right now a package of 4 (3 color, 1 black) is $93.99 on Best Buy. With other printers, I'd take a cartridge out, shake it, put it back in, and it would last for awhile longer. That does not work with these. Also the printer takes forever to turn on; keeps making sounds until it is finally ready. Then when you go to turn it off, sometimes you have to hit the button about 4 or 5 times, and it doesn't shut off immediately. This is the worst printer I've ever owned for those reasons. It does print quickly, and I haven't had any connection problems. I just can't deal with the cartridges and the on and off issues. Not sure how much longer I can put up with it. Thankfully I don't use it a lot. For some reason, this printer has great reviews. I would definitely shop around for something else unless you like wasting money and replacing cartridges constantly. Wish I could get my old HP printer back.
