I was originally going to get one of the D brand vacuums but had been hesitant because of the price. Then I saw some reviews of this (search for the wirecutter review) and decided to give it a shot. I am not disappointed! It has great suction - I am a amazed at how much it picks up. That is probably the only minor downside - it is so good at picking up dirt that you will need to empty it just about every room, fortunately it’s easy to do. Haven’t used the lift away feature yet, just regular vacuum and the hose. I can’t see buying the D brand when this is so good, and for the price of the D brand I can get one of these for each floor of the house. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Love my Shark Navigator! Amazing suction and equally good on carpet and hard wood floor. The attachments and detachable canister make it each to do steps, small areas, and furniture. It sucks up my dog and cat hair, as well as dust and dirt better than any vacuum I have ever had. Plus it is self propelled, and this makes the job even easier.

This vacuum works great and does everything it’s supposed to. I love it! So light and versatile, easy to use, easy to dump out dust after using, not too loud. I do wish the cord was a little longer and the body maybe a bit wider to get more done at a time. But totally into it!

Great Little Vacuum

Lot's of power in a small, relatively light-weight package. The motor is also surprisingly quiet, or perhaps I am just used to my old Dirt Devil and the shriek it made. Also, the under-appliance attachment is a cool idea that I have yet to try, but, am sure will work well considering the amount of suction this little vacuum has.

I love this vacuum cleaner. It's easy to handle and quitter than others. It's attachments are easily accessible. The see through canister lets you see whenever it needs emptied and then you can unlatch the bottom to allow dirt to escape which is very handy. Best vacuum cleaner I've owned.

The item arrived quickly and is is exactly what I ordered. It works great and is lightweight and has great suction. This is my 3rd Shark. I feel they are reasonably priced for the quality of the product. You can’t go wrong with a Shark.

Having purchased "the cheapest one they have" for many years, I have gone through many vacuum cleaners. Moving into our house and putting in brand new carpet made me want to invest in a vacuum cleaner that was going to keep it looking new.
The Shark Navigator has amazing suction and the swivel head makes it so simple to maneuver. It was simple to assemble and is small enough to tuck into our cleaning supply closet without causing clutter.
The bucket is easy to clean out and I love that I can lift the hose suction and carry it with me to clean high up.
My main complaint about this vacuum, which is mostly a quality of life complaint, is that it does not have an automatic cord return.

Excellent vacuum for the price point. I was l doubtful at first on the power until I realized it had 2 settings. Once I figured that out it does a great job. Easier to dump than a Dyson that I had. I like the detachable feature also when vacuuming the couch or under furniture.

I researched before buying and was looking for a good bagless vacuum that had enough power to still pick up pet hair if needed. I've been very impressed so far. The Shark has excellent power, moves easily, and has a good variety of useful attachments. For the price, I think it is an excellent value.

So much lighter and easier to use than my Dyson! It is really easy to take the canister off and vacuum the stairs. The shark also has lots of nifty attachments for reaching under appliances, etc., but nowhere to put them. I wish there was a way to attach them to the vacuum so they would be handy as you move around.

The width of the base is narrow so it fits into smaller spaces when vacuuming and stores easily. I have a bad shoulder. It is lightweight enough that vacuuming with it no longer causes me pain. We have dogs in the house and the suction has proven to be very effective on getting their hair out of the carpet.

After reading the instructions, this is very easy to use and extremely lightweight. We bought this a year ago and it is still going strong. We absolutely love it. It detatches easily to use on furniture or steps and is also very lightweight to use as a standup, pushing around. Well worth the affordable price.

This is my second Shark. My Shark Professional I bought around 8 years ago that just suddenly snapped apart was better. However, suction is good. It picked up the pet hair, it got up all the junk up from outside, it got up all the crumbs. It is better than the Hoo... that I used to have by a million miles.
Some bad now though. That little hose you see next to the base? That will come off if you are vacuuming "around" something and it hits with any force. A little annoying, that's it. The tools that come with it, are a joke. Thankfully, my shark professionals add-tool attachements that I still have fit. Any they are so superior to these little dinky add ons. That last statement probably won't help you, but if you are replacing a shark with a shark. KEEP THE ADD ON TOOLS.
Good stuff : Easy to manuever, weighs less than the old vacuum. Anyone complaining or saying the weight is a detriment is lying. I don't know how a vacuum can be any lighter. Anyway.
Good Cont. Easy to take off dust container that feels solid, it emptied in my garbage with no issues.
Despite my review, I gave it 4 stars because my house is vacuumed up and clean after use. The attachement tools are an absolute joke though. Keep that in mind. It would have taken me twice as long to vacuum my stairs with that teeny thing that my old add on attachment that thankfully fits. The end.

Very recent purchase, so I can't speak to the the longevity of the vacuum. Cord is shorter than my previous Shark vacuum but suction is amazing and pulled up so much cat hair that my previous vacuum missed. There's no way to adjust the height of the vacuum, so it can be struggle to push the machine back and forth over a high pile rug unless moved vigorously. If I move it too slowly, it kind of gets "stuck" because the suction is so strong.

If you need your floors to actually be clean and not just look like it, buy a corded vacuum, specifically this one, especially at this price. This $150 vacuum knocks the $1000 Dyson out in first round, no kidding. Get the best but total membership and have the vacuum covered warranty wise, as well. Works phenomenal!!

This is a light, stylish, and easy to use vacuum, well suited to my carpets, hardwood, and rugs. I could tell from how much it gathered on its first run that it was quite superior to my old vacuum (which I thought was pretty good.)

We love the modular design and power of this vacuum. The way the pieces fit together makes it easy to switch attachments, empty the dust collector, and remove a portion of it to clean the stairs. It also has much better suction than our old vacuum cleaner.

This is a super vacuum cleaner - great suction, very easy to use and clean. Easy to lift away. Tools ok. Could have used a long straight section for reaching rather than the under appliance attachment. Wished the hose was just a bit longer as well, but would get this one again for the price, quality, suction and ease of use. Can't get under beds, etc with the canister on top, but great for my use.
