I got this for my new kindle Fire because I dropped my old one and shattered the screen.

I haven't had to use this service yet, but it is nice knowing it is available.

This service is definitely worth the money. When I purchased my 1st Surface Pro I accidentally dropped it and damaged it. I took it to the Geek Squad to check out and they immediately determined that my Surface was irreparable, and it was replaced on the spot.

The protection is good to protect you from losing devices accidentally. It is good to have the insurance to the device incase of breakages

Hope will not need to ever use, but unfortunately same tablet purchased not even a moth old was defective and was given hard time when tried to exchange it.

Geek Squad support services are reliable time after time. When you have one desktop and 4 laptops, something will eventually go wrong and it’s a quick phone call to have them remotely take over and fix the issue. It’s nice to have Geek Squad on your side!

Having this protection is needed, although I only used it twice within the 1-year I had it. The question below ask "would I recommend it to a friend?" my answer is yes / and no, if you are nontechic then YES...

They sent my device to the wrong service center and then did not update for a week. Everytime I called for an update I was told to go to my local store geek squad because they had no answers. The local store could only go off the online updates which went another week without being updated. It was stressful overall. They did say it was not a common occurrence . Originally I was going to give zero stars out of stress but the very last phone agent who helped me was actually very helpful. He straightened everything out and took his time. They need more agents like him.

I always make sure to get this with any large purchase I make at Best Buy. The GeekSquad is very helpful with any problems I have. They always make sure to help fix the situation. I recommend the protection plan to everyone.

I never believed I’m extended warranty’s but now I wouldn’t buy any electronic equipment with out this BestBuy warranty. My daughter dropped her $1,800. Laptop and broke the case and screen. Best it replaced it for free.

Always good to have coverage. Had it on a previous tablet. Had to be sent off for repairs, which was under warranty and when I went in to pick up tablet it had gotten broken in transit. Was replaced for brand new tablet which was also an upgrade since they didn't have any like the one I had.
