It's a Chromebook, so don't expect it to work like windows. Did go with the better resolution screen, which to me makes a difference when view google docs or youtube. It needs to be connected to the Internet to use most the Google Apps. Excellent for High School students or someone that uses google docs, youtube and google photos.

Purchased to use for High School and secured web access for the daughter. Screen is larger, clear and sharp. Wanted to have a better quality screen and speed with the faster processor than other chrome based models. Cant beat the price HP offers and I hope she gets 4 years out of it.

I just got this Chromebook. This is my second Chromebook and my first HP Chromebook. My first Chromebook is 5 years old and still runs like new. I really like these Chromebooks. I would never go back to a computer that uses a different operating system. With a Chromebook you never have to do any updates, run any antivirus, run any anti spyware, Google does it all in the background so you never know it's being done. The screen resolution on this Chromebook is very good.

I want to say first that this went on sale the week after I purchased it and I had not even a bit of a problem in getting the price adjusted, customer service couldn't be better. As for the Chromebook, perfect for me, I pay bills, shop some and some social media and the only complaint I have and it is small, is the keyboard. I am used to a more expensive laptop and I miss the backlight and the mouse part is not very responsive, it sticks. I intend to buy a wireless mouse if possible. All in all a very good purchase for me.
