I use the laptop primarily for electrical engineering application software development and Microsoft office

I bought this in the middle of May 2016. My overall impression of it is good. The webcam is very clear and nice. The keyboard is easy to type and the touchscreen is very efficient. I've been using it for 7 weeks now for college as well as entertainment purpose and this laptop satisfies me. I don't play game so I don't know how good it is to play game, but I use a lot of tabs to stream Youtube as well as other sites at once and it works well. Bonus: when I bought this laptop at the store, I got a Webroot Secure Anywhere Internet Security protection that is worth $49.99 for free for six months on three devices. Pros: keyboard, webcam, touchscreen, easy to use, fast to boot up and shut down Cons: touchpad is not so smooth, just good enough for scrolling and zooming. Battery life (less than 4 hours; I recommend to put it on battery saver to save battery, it can run up to 5-6 hours on battery saver. Also I recommend to charge it to 80 percent and unplug it, then charge again when the battery drops to 40. Always keep it between 40 and 80. This method works for me and helps my laptop's battery a lot.) Consider to buy a cool pad or a laptop chill mat to help keep the laptop stays cool, this helps the laptop in the long run.

I needed a laptop that would have enough storage for music and pictures. I wanted something basic but also reliable. I did not want to invest a lot of money into a laptop so I purchased this laptop. It is fast and it does everything I need it to do. The only down side to this laptop is the battery. It does not last long and it constantly has to be charged. Other than this, it is a great laptop for the price.

Nice features. Excellent price for all that it has to offer. Touchscreen makes it easy for my little ones to navigate on the Internet. Just a tad too slow at start up... other than that I have no complaints. That is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. Durable enough to handle my family. That is a plus! We use it for many types of projects (from college.. shopping... or just for entertainment ). Wireless connection to other devices is a cinch. This is a way better product than the Dell that I recently purchased. Thank you

After several recurring issues with my 5 year old Samsung laptop, I finally broke down and purchased a new one. HP this time due to good reviews and it had everything I need in a laptop...speed, memory capacity, etc. After an adjustment going from Windows 7 to 10, I am cooking along nicely and have experienced no issues this far. Very nice!

Works perfect for what I needed. Didn't even realize that it is touch screen as well. Good buy for the price.

I bought this laptop to replace my old one that stopped working. The laptop is very nice overall, it handles every day tasks and your typical school assignments. I wouldn't recommend this computer to anyone uses a laptop for anything more than that. The only main complaint I have is the battery life. I usually only get about 3-3.5 hours to a fully charged battery. But besides that, I haven't had any issues whatsoever.

My old laptop was slow and outdated (Windows Vista). I needed faster speed and upgraded capabilities. I was concerned about changing to Windows 10 but so far it has not been a problem. Performance is much improved.

I'm a small business owner and completely rely on my laptop to keep things up and running. After knocking my laptop off a table and shattering the screen, I was panicked: I needed a new laptop within my price range immediately!! The HP - 15.6 Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 6GB - 1TB Hard Drive was just what I needed. Even after getting my screen repaired, I prefer to use my new HP - it's much faster and the sound is so much better. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I am a Mac person but needed PC laptop to program a golf cart. I decided I wanted one that would do more with good storage and speed. After reading reviews and reviewing specs/pricing I chose this HP. I am very pleased so far. Runs much faster than I expected. Downloads very quickly and the touch screen is awesome. For the price it is an outstanding laptop.

Good overall laptop. The chassis is a little cheap feeling, but for the price you are paying for this, you are getting what is on the inside and not on the outside. My only real complaint would be on the mouse pad. Sometimes it just seems to be unresponsive. With touchscreen, you can just simply click what you want on the screen instead of using the mouse pad.

This is the laptop i been shopping for months. my most truted computer is hp an it has the ram and storage i needed. it also is touch screen that i wanted that is awesome and has a dvd writer/player that so few have now. now replaces my desktop and can take it with me. deff. thumbs up.

I had to get a laptop quick when my old one died, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. After searching many reviews I bought this one and absolutely LOVE it! It's so easy to use and the keyboard feels great. I use the keypad a lot and it works great. It's fast, smooth, and does everything I need at a reasonable price. What else could you want? This laptop rocks!

I really love this laptop so far. It is sleek, fast, and efficient. The touchscreen is a nice add on, but not a necessity. Still getting used to Windows 10 and the touchpad. And the battery always drains a bit faster than I think a laptop like this should. But, still a very nice investment for the price!!

Affordable, easy too use touch screen and lightweight

This is the 1st new computer I bought in the last 7 years. I love the touch screen, like using a tablet. I also love the flash memory, turning on the computer to signing on takes 30 seconds. Tons of memory. good for everyday use. I haven't tried any video games on it yet.
