Replacement for my wife’s laptop lost in a house fire last year. HP is our preferred brand and this purchase fit the bill for memory, disk drive, and it has a DVD player/burner.

Great replacement for a 5 year old system. Lighter, bigger screen and has a DVD drive. You don't get those for less than a $100 dollars installed now. A definite buy. I would get another one if it was still available.

I have never had a laptop before. This is perfect for me. Easy to use. Fits my application perfectly. Screen size is perfect. Only problem is flat keyboard. But, that is chacteristic of laptops.

Needed a new laptop because my old one was dated and having issues. Saw this one on the deal of the day and decided to order it. HP 17.3 with a TB hard drive for $449.99. Seemed like a good deal. Was cheaper than the 15.6" counterpart. Only issue was when I unpacked it and tried to install driver for my printer with a cd, found the CD/DVD drawer wouldn't open. Called my local store and Geek Squad said to bring it right up. Within 15 minutes they had a new CD/DVD drive installed and I was on my way. Can't beat the service. It's why I keep coming back to Best Buy.

This product was recommended to me by a Best Buy employee after my old computer could not be fixed by Geek Squad. It was on a special sale that day, and even had a DVD player built in like my old computer. It was easy to set up, and to use.

Purchased as a replacement for a laptop that topped out at 8GB of memory. As a bonus, this machine is lighter, and less bulky than the previous one, so using this for meetings is less of a pain than the other one as well. Downside: This machine comes with Windows 10 Home. I purchased Windows 10 Pro from another vendor, and the new Product key is not being recognized. The upgraded functions that I need have been installed, and work fine otherwise. Also, had to add another 8GB stick. But now I'm off an running again, while still able to use previous tools.

Great price for what laptop offers. Nice size screen, processor is a decent size. Easy set up tool and downloaded needed software without issues.
