    A must have. Especially if you are technically challenged but you must be able to keep up with today's communications. The Heek Squad has helped me far beyond what the membership offers. I am truly impressed with their level of knowledge as well as their customer care. I will always keep access to the Best Buy Geek Squad.

    TOP SERVICE! However I must say to be clear and consise with what you need if you have specific requests and be sure to reiterate yourself/issue to and verify understanding... Especially when going thru or if you make appointment via a rep on the phone. Even after being transferred from various reps over the phone one specific instance remains a headache. I had the experience of my issue being improperly sent to the store wasting my and the geek squads time and without sarisfactory resolve. The phone rep (after being passed to and back n forth to znd between 4/5 different people for a few hours, I was told it was a store issue. The store then said it was not... I had to go thru the 800 #. It was horrible. For a simple missing stylus from a certified exellent purchase I had notified them avout upon receipt and tried a few times but it was outof stock to send before I finally then called this time when the 800# finally referred me to my nearest store. Then the item was no longer available in the store and no alternative was available for this laptop. I was told to call the 800# again which was hopeless. I was also told I could reurn the laptop for credit and buy the last identical one online... but perhaps that wouldnt come with a stylus either? It was absolute craziness. I suggested they just send me the pen from that outlet laptop but no... of course not. Or since it is an exclusive pen, just credit my purchase as it was listed as an item but not included, reimburse me so I could purchase one outside BB or better yet they could, but nope, they would not as zltho within my warranty where I could return the full laptop, they would not just find a way to satisfy me with the pen.... very disappointed and wasted so much time from when I received the laptop to calling for the missing stylus on n off to eventually hours back n forth with reps and traveling to and from he store for no help. i was livid! OTHERWISE, the Geek Squad has ALWAYS been WONDERFUL!

    I am not sure that this is the right review. I think I have a five year warranty with geek squad on my TV. And this is for a two year warranty, which I don’t know what that’s for because I’ve made several purchases. They came out to fix the USB on my TV. And they had to put in a whole new panel in the inner parts. Originally they gave me the wrong one that did not go with my TV. It didn’t give me the options that I had with the original panel. I’m still a little doubtful because I’m not able to do with my TV what I was able to do with it before. But what can I do. I am not that technologically inclined so I have to accept whatever I can get. The USB is fixed.

    Bought a samsung 55inch tv which after 2 years it gave out and needed a mew screen... dont buy samsung tvs they suck.. luckily i had a 5 year service plan which granted me the purchase price towards a new tv. After a few days of waiting my credits were approved and i had a new tv delivered shirtly after.... only draw back is that you must go through geek sqaud to attemp to fix the item before they would give me the credits and that part sucked as i had the tv in store for them to check but i was turned away and told to make a appointment for in home care and that the repair people alone had the power to approve it!

    I've had a good experience using the protection. Bought it on a headset that I use daily, and when it broke. The process was extremely easy and fast. I had a new one same day. This makes life stress-free. Just read what's covered for the item you're buying. Some items aren't protected fully as you might assume. Like TVs for example, read the fine print. But for most other items lots of time it's protected very well
