This camera is awesome. Easy to use, shoots excellent photos, and the built-in Wi-Fi comes in handy when you're on the go and want to save your photos to other devices. Love it. Bought it for my birthday and it has people wanting me as their photographer since. Lol. I'm not a professional, but this camera makes you seem one with the amazing outcomes. Definitely getting my mom one. Can't beat the price!!

I got deceived! It could be used or refurbished

There was no sign of unboxing, but when I opened the box, I found some coffee powder inside the coffee container and around the plastic packing bag. It looks like used or refurbished one. I got deceived. This is expensive one which is over $5,000 and it should be boxed and new. However, the remedy from Best Buy is so simple. I was just told to return it and get new one. Moreover, I was told that I should return to the store that I picked it up because I chose Store Pick Up when I placed the order. The service and manner of Best Buy is truely disappointing.

Geeksquad replaced my coffee pot without a hassle!

I broke my carafe when I washed it in my kitchen sink. It slightly clinked with a cup that was sitting on the bottom of my sink as I swirl the soapy water around the carafe. Wrong move. It broke the bottom of my carafe and sent me crying in distress. (Could be an exaggeration, no, definitely an exaggeration but it felt that way lol) Until I remembered my purchase was protected by Geek Squad protection. Luckily, I have the original box it came in as it was just recently purchased about a month ago prior to it breaking. I put the whole coffee pot including the accessories that came with it inside the box and took it to my nearest Best Buy. I informed the staff that I had wrapped the broken carafe in a clear plastic bag so the damage could easily be seen for their protection and mine. After inspecting that everything was there, the staff instructed me to get a new one on their shelves in the store. Okay, happy to oblige. :) You might ask why I'm happy to do it- well it's because it would make my life (and theirs) easier than haggling the staff who are already stressed out because there aren't enough people working the floor. Plus, it might take them longer than if I just pick it up from their shelves myself. Soooo, after a few minutes of a trip down the aisles and a few knick-knacks that I managed to scrounge, Geek Squad/Best Buy replaced my carafe without a hassle. So a heads-up, if you are there for a replacement, maybe try to find the item you were looking to be replaced first and then head to Geek Squad or customer service. (This is a little convoluted- sometimes they will send me to Geek Squad and at times, to Customer Service) But the main jibe is if you're doing a repair, go to Geek Squad and for replacements, customer service.

I bought a 2 year warranty for my Ninja coffee maker and it is a great value. I take care of my kitchen appliances so the chance of using any extra warranty is low, but it is nice to have it "just in case".

I have to be honest, I'm not sure what to say about the star rating on this. Taken by itself, the 2.0 series is a nice, if not strictly necessary, upgrade. The four-cup carafe capability is an interesting addition, although I'm inclined to think that it's a waste of effort if Keurig never bothers to bring out a My K-Carafe attachment. According to Keurig's website, it also supports Vue cups, which is mainly of use to people who bought into the Vue system. (If you did, I have no idea what you were thinking. Here's your way out.) Coffee is hot and appropriately tasty, and (hallelujah) the system is self-priming, which means no poking at the thing six or seven times when you haven't used it in a month. But that lockout thing... that's a doozie. The workaround is easy enough -- slice the foil off the top of a licensed K-Cup and put it on top of whatever you're putting in there, making sure the sensor can see the label band around the edge -- but it's the principle of the thing. Keurig, in trying to escape the inevitability of losing business because of an expired patent, has attempted to remove the one thing about its system that set it apart from other single-serve coffee systems, the ability to opt out of the Keurig ecosystem. Even the My K-Cup no longer works; even with the workaround, it won't fit properly in the chamber. (The Melitta semi-disposable pods I reviewed a year or so ago, though, work well enough with the workaround, as I assume will most smaller K-Cup replacements.) When you get right down to it, Keurig misfired pretty badly on this one. The coffee maker itself works pretty well, and if you don't mind tinkering, you're good to go. However, if you prefer to have things work out of the box, or if you just avoid DRMed things as much as possible on principle, the 2.0 series in general hasn't much to offer you. UPDATE: Yes, it supports Vue cups just fine. It doesn't explain how to use them in the manual, although the Vue cup boxes say to use setting 4 on the touchscreen.

Geek Squad Warranty pays for itself

I’ve purchased quite a few Norelco electric razors from Best Buy over the years and the Geek Squad two year extended warranty has come into play more than once. I never had any issues when having to use this warranty. I would simply pick up an equivalent model (or the same model if it’s still in production) and pay the cost to get another two year warranty. No complaints whatsoever although it’s sad that a lot of products today are not built to last for long term.

Things break. They don’t make them like they used too. Every TV I buy nowadays breaks whether it’s a Walmart TCL or a LG OLED or Sony Bravia after two years. This warranty will either get you the same Product if it still exists or will give you “cash” worth whatever the item is currently worth. So I bought an $1100 TV on sale from $1300 and two years later it broke and I was given back $900 to put towards a new TV and I bought an OLED with more bells and whistles than the previous TV I had for $200 bucks more which is still better than having lost the entire monetary value. For coffee machines, for example, they’ll give you the equivalent model or the existing model with little to no questions asked. For me, I usually end up utilizing these warranties so they’re worth it.

I usually purchase extended replacement plans for electronics, especially since BB shortened their return window. This was the first time I’ve ever used one of replacement plans and it made me thankful for doing so because the item stopped functioning properly slightly over a year afterwards. Most manufacturers only give a one-year warranty so I would’ve been out of luck otherwise. Not only did BB replace it with a brand-new item without the original packaging available but I was also able to purchase a new plan starting on the replacement date!

The Geek Squad protection plans make sense on many items. Sometimes it is not needed, but when you make your purchase, ask for all the details of what the plan will do if needed. I know sometimes the plan will replace or give store credit even if your child takes a hammer to whatever you bought, but sometimes the plan will not do that. So make sure you know what the plan will do if purchased!

I bought a Keurig coffee maker K-mini and in a short amount of time, it just stopped working. I was able to return it hassle-free because of the store's return policy. I really wanted to like it and I thought maybe I just bought a defective coffee maker and so I bought another one but I also bought the store's insurance as well. After awhile, it stopped working but I was busy with work that I didn't make it a priority to go return in. Luckily I had insurance on it, I was able to return it and got the amount back on a gift card.

No fuzz, no trouble! Totally worth it as Best Buy usually sells items that are designed with planned obsolescence. When your gadgets fail on you(usually exactly after warranty expires) geek squad product replacement to the rescue!!! More often than not, they won’t have the exact same item in stock or can’t fix it so you’ll get credit for the original cost of the item. One time a better item was available for a better price so I got a replacement and some store credit left over. Just Amazing!

Great peace of mind since most electronics are built cheaply and designed to fail. I purchased a three-year plan on my GoPro Hero 6. Two months in the screen on it stopped working. I walked into my local Best Buy with the defective camera, and walked out 15 minutes later with a new one, no questions asked. I don't imagine that every plan I buy on every item will pay for itself in this way, but it's a small price to pay for such a great customer service experience. Think of it as insurance. Yes, it's designed so that Best Buy makes a profit but a business needs to turn a profit to stay in business. But if your device dies, they'll simply give you a new one. Can't get any simpler than that.

I love shopping at Best Buy and I always get the warranty as they have great customer service. Geek Squad recently paid for itself for me as the repair company botched the repair on my fridge and I needed a replacement fridge as it could not be repaired any longer. Geek Squad covered the replacement in full which was such good news to get right before the holidays!
