I always get protection plans on my electronics and this was very cost efficient. Worth buying.

Waste of time and money

So the first year is factory one year warranty. So they sometimes wont touch it that first year. So you paid for a year you cant use. Then after the second year your tv is obsolete. So it doesn't matter. If your screen starts going bad like mine did, you have best buy come over and instead of replacing the tv, no they order a screen to replace the old one. The of course time the shipping to kill the rest of the time you have remaining on your warranty and finally install the screen on this tv, and enjoy! Any issues call us within the 2 weeks you have left on your warranty. Guess what? My tv is burning out again.

I have dealt with many protection plans but this one if you use it and they replace your product they tell you that you have to purchase a new one to cover the new product even though you paid for a year and used it say the first 2 months Best Buy does not want to transfer the remaking plan over.
