    I use to like to get the warranty but it's not worthwhile with the new decisions by corporate. I bought my daughter a Surface Pro 7 and keyboard for Christmas last year and the keyboard came apart in March. So I went to Best Buy to see if they could swap it out like in the past or fix it. They didn't swap it out and they wanted me to send it in instead, along with the computer which would take about 3 weeks to get back but I have no issues with the computer and my daughter needs it for school. They say because the products were purchased together that both products must be sent in SMH.

    This is trash, they fixed my tablet and the screen that they changed flew off the tablet out of nowhere and they said that isn't their fault because the item passed the 30 days warranty they give on their job they're done and i ask my self who's going to buy a warranty that when you take you're item to fix only last 30 days? None sense to me.

    And they don’t. I called and they helped me. Even though it took 4 hours but in the end they helped me cheat the system more than get the proper help the service entails

    Decent coverage never really had to use that much so it wasn't worth it

    I canceled this service only because it's tied in to my warranty already in play. I feel paying for extra or extended warranties should kick in after the manufactory warranty expires not during the manufactory warranty. But that is usually how it works. I'm sure Geek squad is a good protection to have for high end products but for my usage it wasn't worth it. If the product I buy fails in 15 to 30 days it's a lemon and you complain to the manufacture and try a different product and report them to BBB the consumer protection agency if the manufacture doesn't solve the issue.

    I purchased this at the Orem, Utah, location, and I was told it would cover everything. Lo and behold, just under a year later, my laptop screen got cracked. I took it in...and was told my coverage DOES NOT cover full repair or replacement for touchscreen laptops. All they could do was send it out and give me 20% off the cost of repair or replacement (which would add up to probably $500 or more). I'm obviously very upset!

    Broke a month after warranty was up

    My brand new computer worked great until the warranty was up and just a month later my computer stopped charging completely. So I guess the 1yr protection plan wasn’t much help to me.

    Doesn't cove software issues such as it not finishing updates. needing to uninstall and reinstall operating system to fix.
