Makes ice quickly. It is nuggets type ice. I like it because it is easy to eat.

This icemaker is awesome! We read the reviews and do the same thing as other customers, we make a bunch of ice and put it in Ziploc bags and keep it in the freezer. It is true that the ice starts melting, but it’s just like any other ice that you take out of the freezer...so you have to put it back in the freezer for it to stay frozen, which would be the case with any other ice.

My family uses a lot of ice. We have a freezer that produces ice, but come on, that stuff tastes nasty! With this little machine we are able to fill it up with purified water which produces great tasting ice! It makes the ice fairly quickly. The amount it holds in a full tray should be enough for 2, maybe 3, people. It then only takes a little over an hour to refill.

Genius idea for someone that needs on demand ice. In my household we can't seem to ever get ice made fast enough with the usual ice made from the refrigerator. I find myself getting up at 3:00 am just to make sure i can get my 2 large cupfuls for the day and to let it build up again. With this portable icemaker i can always set this up when needing ice asap. Very great invention!

PROS: GREAT TASTIN ICE. Cons: Noisey. Blows hot air. Recommended for outside use.

We bought this for two reasons, our freezer ice maker is broken and we have been without ice for months. Then my husband told me about this portable icemaker that he noticed others using during a recent racing event. The other campers had this and he thought it was a great idea. Now I have ice at home and he has ice on his racing weekends. And it works so fast! Love it!

This machine is great. Not better than a regular ice machine with a freezer but if u don't have an ice maker this is great. It takes about 6 mins to get 9 cudes of ice. So if u cut it on right before u cook u will have ice for the whole family. It's wet ice not dry cause it's no freezer. So keep that in mind. But other than that I love the machine

I bought this for my house when my fridge wasn't making ice. It did its job well. You just have to refill water when the light comes on. Makes enough ice for me and my mom to use. I gave it to my brother so he can make ice for work. Very sturdy and well made.

This ice maker has been a lifesaver. Our fridge ice maker quit working and we couldn't find parts to repair. We have used this item daily for over a year now with no issues. Recently started noticing what looks like rust on water valves. Will be contacting Geek Squad for assistance

I bought this to use in my travel trailer when we go camping to have extra ice for beverages. I have only used it once and it appears to be amazing! The only drawback I have with this is that you have to constantly check to ensure that the ice basket (which is not very big) has not become filled so it will continue to produce ice. Other than this small issue, it is an amazing product!
