Just buy it for real
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At this price I cant believe I love this TV so much!!! I bought two for our bedrooms. If you never had a Roku you are in for a treat! Tons of Apps available. You can search for a program on the home screen and it will scan all apps and show you where the program is available and if it is free or for rent with the price listing for each offer! You can download the remote to your phone and control all the TV'S and apps in one place so you can remove or lock programs out. My 3yo can navigate this TV it is so streamlined and user friendly. I bought these in March 2017 and I still stumble across cool hidden features. I especially love using my Pandora account on here... I will be swapping out my over priced Sony TV in our Living Room for a larger Roku and my Sony TV was top of the line 2yrs ago and does have a great picture I assure you.. But this TV is fully loaded and just so much cooler! Don't think just buy it for real!

Fantastic TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing TV in all respects, maybe with exception to the remote. The built-in Roku makes this TV remarkable to watch online content; the slight downside is that the remote is very basic and takes a little getting comfortable using. Great sound, good sound for the size TV, mounts nicely on the bedroom wall.

Great Price and Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my Dad, who was still using a CRT style TV. He told me "Nah I don't need it" Well he is more than happy that I did. Picture quality is great, 720p but better than a CRT!! The Roku features are awesome and easy to set up! Pair this with a Insignia Soundbar and you got yourself a nice cheap but good quality little set up!!

I'm very pleased with my Insignia 32" TV.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great smart TV and was so easy to set up. It's also very light weight, with very good picture and sound. I have it hooked up to an antenna, and I get all local channels perfectly, unlike my 10 year old family room TV. Also, with the Roku feature, I gets several free channels. Great TV for the price!

Good Option for Limited Budget
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very comparable to my larger TV, and the added bonus of controlling through an app has my kid hooked. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs a good option on a lower budget. Picture, sound, and ease of setup are all pros - only con would be the remote, but as it's not likely to be used once the initial setup is complete, it's really not an issue.

Very nice secondary TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV does a very nice job as a tv in our screen room. Colors are very good . Very easy to use Roku to eliminate the need for a cable box. Remote leaves a lot to be desired. Upon grabbing the remote, the mute button on the right side in invariably pressed. Poor remote design. Also there is no channel up or down.

Great TV Deal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is a great deal for the price, especially when purchased on sale. My biggest complaint is the picture quality; it's not bad, but it's not incredible either. I had to play with some of the clarity and picture settings to get the TV to what I feel is appropriate. However, the Roku TV feature makes this an excellent buy!

Good second TV. Use in bedroom
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice size for the bedroom. Decent picture and sound. Have not tried the streaming option yet but seems it would be quite easy to startup. A little extra time for initial start up because you have to register with Roku, including giving a credit card #. Be careful when registering to avoid signing up for services you don't want.

Love this tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV because of the sale price. Also I was a little nervous buying a product that wasn’t as popular as Vizio or Sony and some other major brands but this is actually better than my 55 inch Visio Smart TV I absolutely love it! I would definitely buy another insignia TV.

I cut the cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We wanted to experiment with cutting the cable and decided on a Roku enabled TV. The picture quality is very good and the sound is better than I expected. Set up was easy and it is light enough to move from room to room. Best Buy's pick up service was a royal pain but I would buy this TV again.

Great second TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ran all the reviews before I purchased this TV most complained about the remote control with the volume settings being on the side. It does take some getting used to but it is not horrible. The television picture quality is good even though it is only 720P. The Roku feature works very well.

Good idea with some fatal flaws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 of these TVs last year around this time, and have been using them both for the past year. One is mounted in a playroom and sees less use, while the other one is mounted in my office and is used almost daily for a couple hours. This review applies to both units, but some of the issues listed below are more frequent on the office TV due to it's use. To preface use, both of these TVs were purchased as secondary TVs for rooms where they would see less frequent use than a primary area, like the master bedroom, living room, or media room. In both rooms, they are positioned approx. 6'-8' from the expected viewing position, and both are mounted 5.5 feet above the ground on a wall mount. One has an antenna, while both are primarily used for streaming. Pros: - I like the ROKU interface, and I like what they did with the integration as a primary TV Operating System (OS). I read initial complaints about the default location/app after power on, but ROKU has a setting to control that so it's a non-issue. I originally had my office set to antenna but switched to primarily streaming so I modified it to the home location. Other than that, if you've used a ROKU stick/box/device, you are already familiar with how this works. - Picture quality is decent, given the cost and market for this TV. It's not as good as the plasma or other slightly more expensive LCD sets I have elsewhere in the house, but it works well as a secondary set. The brightness and contrast need heavy adjusting out of the box to help the colors and black levels, but it works well for what it is when done. Low light details are lacking, but it's not as bad as some other cheap TVs I have seen. With the brightness and contrast adjusted down, colors become cleaner as well. - The speakers are decent as well. Again, we're talking secondary, inexpensive set, but they sound better than the 2 cheap 32" Vizio TVs I have in other rooms. At high volume there is some distortion, but at low, practical levels these sound good enough to fill a 12x16 and 12x12 room. - Picture lag/ghosting isn't terrible when gaming. I stream games to one of these TVs sometimes and it functions well enough to be functional. Again, it's middle of the road in terms of response and refresh rate for gaming, but it is functional enough to not be annoying or an eyestrain. - Connectivity is great for a Roku TV this size and price. The built-in WiFi makes it easy to connect to your network, while the 3 HDMI ports, including ARC support, and composite video inputs provide enough options for connecting additional components, including older ones that only have Red-White-Yellow connectors. The 3 HDMI ports alone helped sell me on this set. Cons: - The biggest con with this set is the reliability of the WiFi. I don't know if it's a software issue or hardware issue, but the set frequently disconnects from WiFi and will not reconnect without a reboot. Even going into the settings and rescanning for networks will not work unless I fully power cycle the TV first. This makes for a very frustrating experience, and it happens multiple times a week, given a 5 day work week (for my office TV). - The second biggest con with this set is the performance of the processor. There is a noticeable lag when adjusting volume while using apps in the Roku environment. Antenna TV doesn't appear to be as affected, but using Netflix or DirectTV Now is very sluggish. I also experience frequent freeze ups with Netflix, Hulu, DirectTV Now, and a few other streaming apps, which will end up with the TV automatically restarting after about 15-30 seconds. This happens at least once or twice a day, given a 7 hour working day. It's far more common with any Live TV Streaming apps, but, as mentioned, Hulu and Netflix exhibit the same behavior. I'm assuming it's an issue with the hardware not being strong enough to handle the software. -The Roku remote with this, while compact and simplified (which I like) is IR only. If you're familiar with the majority of Roku remotes being RF, and therefore not requiring a line-of-sight for working, this will take some getting used to. You actually have to point this remote at the TV for any o the functionality to work. This isn't a huge thing, but it's worth pointing out. - The color depth and image quality, while quite acceptable as a secondary TV in a playroom or guest room, is not great as a primary set for a living room or media room. If you're looking for a TV that is great for watching fast-action movies on a regular basis, I would check out some of the pricier options. While there are "more" Pros than Cons, in my opinion, the performance of the TV and the WiFi reliability have become such a nuisance and problem with it, that about 50% of the time I am using it I wish I had returned it and purchased something different. These issues weren't apparent in the first few months of purchasing, and both sets were not used as regularly as they are now, so it wasn't as big a problem. But now that I use them more frequently, the issues have created more regret. If you're only going to use this TV in a guest room occasionally, or some other space less than a couple days a week, it works as an acceptable option. However, if you are going to use it daily or pretty frequently, you will probably grow tired of the performance issues and will wish you spent a little more on something more performant and reliable.

Affordable TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for my granddaughter's bedroom. Perfect size and features for pre-teen. Easy setup and remote was user friendly. Television stand was solid. Picture was surprisingly clear, likely due to HD antenna. Picture was almost as good as our other higher priced televisions.

Great Dorm TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this television for my daughter at college in the dorm, great size and great value. She likes the built in Roku feature since she has free internet with no data limit, and this gives a variety of other channels and ability to catch up on missed television episodes.

Great entry level Smart TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I recently moved and needed a TV for my now combined dinning room and kitchen. Seeing as space was a wee bit limited, I was looking for a decently priced , decently sized TV. Originally I was a bit skeptical about purchasing a Smart TV because my 39' Vizio Smart TV is actually not great at all. It has very limited apps and often freezes, requiring an unplugging to work again. I happen to be one of the very first Roku adopters so I was pleased to see that platform offered on this brand at an exceptional price. The setup was fairly easy and positioning the channels in a more favorable manner was a snap. Since I am already a user for most of the apps, all I had to do was to wait for them to download and sign in. The color and contrast does leave quite a bit to be desired but for a 32' with built in Roku under $200. It is not that big of a deal. Sound is pretty clean and it does not have to be at its max for it to be heard. I also love the sleep feature, right on the remote. Currently I am giving it 4 stars because I need to put it through the paces to see how well it performs.

Bargain TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my 89-year old mother who was moving into a retirement apartment with limited space. TV was easy to set up and, once the viewing list was set up, has been very easy to use for my mother. Although only 720, picture is still sharp-no complaints from my mom. She loves it!

Excellent Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a tv for my guest bedroom. This fit in perfect. Picture quality is fantastic and sounds great. Good Price, Good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is lightweight and easy to set up. Can not beat the product for the price. This is in my 7 year old's room and he loves it. All he uses it for is Netflix and playing the Wii. It was very easy to set up and easy for him to use. The picture quality is good as well.

Needs volume tweaking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good tv for the price, but the volume is a little touchy. Seems like certain shows through Roku come through very loud and others are very quiet, but the volume is the same on the tv. I don't like having to edit the volume settings with every change of the channel. Still a good value for a Roku setup.
