I was skeptical but after using this induction cooktop it is awesome. Heats super fast but doesn't create heat like the stove. Easy to clean. No cracks or crevices. Temperature control easy to use and reacts quickly when adjusting. Yeah there's a cooling fan when finished using but it's a minor inconvenience, not any louder than using any other appliances and runs for maybe a minute or so. The biggest downside is finding pans. Aluminum won't work. They have to contain enough steel for a magnet to stick on the bottom. So I'll take a magnet to Goodwill and start hunting since it's a keeper!!

i got one over a year ago ,, and gotten to really like these ,, i taken it traveling in hotel room to make perk coffee, cook snacks - soups , etc .. The most appreciation is cooking in the summer, that you don't heat up the kitchen ,, i like the low setting for a more easy control low cook situations, like rice, or simmer ... I like the timer that will shut off and i don't have to worry about over cooking or burning while busy cooking or doing other t hings,, and I can go on and on .. .i used this with hot convention oven on same kitchen outlet and does not throw a breaker. .. but a downfall is if you only have one ,, you essentially cook one item at a time ,, i now can cook two items at the same time for a meal too .. but if one ever breaks,, i still have one that should works ...

Best choice ever. I purchased an electric double burner cooker a few months ago from a well known retail giant, and it couldn't even bring water to a full boil let alone cook anything larger than a small pan fried portion of vegetables. This induction cooker is the complete opposite! The design is super sleek and modern so it fits in really well with any kitchen. The 2 pots it comes with are on the smaller side which come in handy, but you will need to go out and purchase some larger stainless steel only pots and pans. This induction cooker only uses pots that a magnet can stick to the bottom of. I thought that I would regret this purchase only because it's a single burner but you won't as long as you purchase a larger sautée pan, can do multiple items in same pan. Amazing portable cooker!

So far, very happy and especially in the summer hot days ,, that you don't introduce a lot of heat in the kitchen compared to the gas stove or like the heater element of portable electrical stove / grills that I also bought ... The induction actually cooks faster too ,, which was a surprise ... Nice features are to move it outside, easy to clean, timer and it does do a pretty good job of setting a specific heat range .... you need to experiment ,, but if you record what setting you use at the start to record what setting works best ,,, you then just need to reference it , instead of trying to remember what you did last my only disappointment is not all my pots and pans are steel ....

heats up fast. heat temp setting by number 1-10 system. I would like it if its a real temperature degrees. not all cookware are compatible with these inductions cooktop. if the cookware is made magnetic metals then it will work with induction cooktops. I used this for hotpot and patio cooking. the cookware comes with this set is pretty small

Works with pots that came with it as well as others I own. Boils half of the included pot of water in 3 minutes from turn-on to full boil. Quick! Easy to use and easily adjustable. There is a fan that comes on that some reviewers complain about but it doesn't bother me given all the positives.

This has a learning curve. Watch this when you turn it on. Its preset and depending on what you are cooking, it can burn your food. First use I used it to melt butter to fry eggs. It burned the butter. Turned it off let it cool and tried to cook eggs they burned and stuck to the pan. Now I turn it down right away for those kinds of food. Everything else it cooks great. So watch your adjustments and you'll be just fine. Also don't walk away for long when you are cooking. It cooks fast and can surprise you. This sounds like kind of a negative review but I actually like this more than my review let's on. Once you get things figured out its a great little cook set. I use it all the time now and love it. Looking forward to try caning with it. I'm going to use this outside and camping as well. It also will come in handy when the holidays roll around.

This was a great deal. I love this induction cooktop, although the fan is loud. This is better than a coiled hot plate anyday. Totally impressed in the quality of the pots included in this deal.

Unit actually works great. Can set it in a location to where oil splatter is easier to clean up instead of on the stove top. What I did not realize is that all my stainless steel cookware is not compatible with induction units. Base of the pan you are using has to be able to attract a magnet. You are also limited to a pot/pan no larger than 7.9 inches in diameter. Both the pot and small skillet that comes with the unit are very nice, but small.

There are other portable induction cooktops out there. This is thinner and lighter than the nationally known one. Cooks easily and the sealed controls clean up with little effort. First use was great. My wife, doubtful at first, finds it as convenient as I do. Gotta like not heating up the kitchen, fast boiling water for pasta, and I am ready to use it with a Dutch oven as a slow cooker.

This cooktop heats water and food up so fast that a timer is important. Cooktop shuts off automatically once the time is up. So convenient! With our old induction cooktop we often boiled water and forgot to turn it off. Fortunately the water dried up and there wasn’t much damage to the pot. Still that doesn’t happen anymore since this cooktop has an easy to use timer. Water boils very quickly. I love the pots that came with the stove. Both sturdy and easy to clean.

I have tried different brands of this and this one is good. I like the option of having two methods of setting the controls...either temperature or by scale. It was wonderful that it had two pans with it, too. It is attractive enough that I leave it out on my cabinet. I am not sure it cooks quite as fast as another brand I own, but it does very well. Boils water fast and I love these induction cookers in that they bring very little heat to the kitchen. Great price and purchase.

Ever since my folks upgraded to an induction stove I have though it would be nice to get a simple portable version for myself. They heat amazingly fast and are very consistent in the temperature. I really like this one. It is easy to clean with a single sheet of glass covering the whole surface on top and the included pot and skillet are much heavier weight than I would have imagined.

appears to be of decent quality, fairly easy to use; comes with 2 stainless pans, only downfall is it really didn't appear to be a whole lot faster than my glasstop stove at heating up items; will definitely come in handy over the holidays.

I did not know anything about induction cooking, but now am hooked. pros: 1) heat increases and decreases quickly and precisely. 2) very easy to control heat levels. 3) easy to clean the spills. cons: 1) the only nick-pick for me is that the included pot is too small.

I bought this to go in the bar area for the occasional heating up of dips etc. Very simple to use and works as expected. Boiled a full pot of water in under 2 minutes. Easy to adjust the temperature and it is instant. The only thing that I wasn't expecting was the fan when it's in use. No biggie as it shuts off when the unit is not in use. I now want a full induction stove!!

I bought this for camping but it works next to my BBQ too for when I need to boil something or really just use it for anything in a pan. It's a little noisy but nothing that is too bad. It's not the top end version with all the bells and whistles like temp settings, etc... it just has a 1-10 basically but for the price you can't beat it, but it boils water in about 60 seconds which is awesome.

The last induction cooktop I bought 2 years back from eBay stopped working all of a sudden and I was looking around for another one. I couldn’t find one within my budget until I came across this which was on sale for 50% off. So I decided to buy this. It looks good and works alright though it takes longer to heat up than the one I had before. I guess it’s because it’s rated at 1300 W when most induction cookers on the market are 1500 W and even go up to 1800 W. Also it’s super noisy, the fan that runs in the product. So if you are okay with a slightly longer heating time and the noise, it’s a product I would recommend.
