I think the 4 year protection is a must. Nice to know if anything happens it will be fixed or replace. Without having to send it away. Just head back to the store

I've had to use the protection plan and there was no hassle. The shop messed up the wiring and blew the Sub. Brought it back into the store and they swapped it out no problem.
