It has lived up to my expectations! When we go it, we were amazed at the clarity of the picture.- so sharp! I use the insignia sound bar to boost the sound. Also very easy to set up- took me five minutes.I highly recommend it!

This is a great tv, the picture on it is very clear. It's mostly used for gaming. But either way the quality of the picture and sound is great. I've bought 2 of these tv's now do to the quality. Very easy to set up and use.

Bought this TV to be used as a display monitor at our church. Strictly using it as a photo slideshow presenter. It was so easy to set up. Love the fact that its an LED television with even color and brightness.

I wanted a "grown up" TV. My tiny, little 25 inch was the source of endless teasing by my friends who had gi-hugic TV's. I don't want my TV to talk to me, make my coffee in the morning or do any type of medical evaluations on me. Nor do I want to spend more on a television then I did on my first car. I want a picture with sound and this one does the job nicely. If you just want to watch a movie and relax and do not care if the TV can sense how you are feeling that day, this is a great TV and a great price. $349 -how can you go wrong?

This is my 2nd Insignia TV. I bought a 32" almost a year ago, for my bedroom (this is my main TV, and is connected to cable).... My roommate has a TV in her room, as well, but we wanted a bigger screen, in the living room, so we could invite friends over for netflix and other movies, etc. There is no cable box on the 48" set.... Both TVs are great: nice picture, nice sound, nice price! One nice little bonus, which other TVs don't seem to have is a jack for a headset. If we have a guest staying in the LR (or even one of us) watching tv late at night, we can enjoy the bigger screen experience, without waking other people up! Oh- and thanks to a hdmi converter cable for my ipad, we can have HBO GO, w/o an extra cable box!

Wanted something big for the bedroom due to the size of our master bedroom but didn't need the best of the best. Great price, perfect size. Quality rivals our family room TV. The picture difference is hardly noticed. Sound is better. TV itself is user friendly. Had it for a couple months now and not a single issue.

Bought two of these for my entertainment room and am pleased with them so far. Picture is clear, sound adequate, menu is a bit slow to pull up and navigate, price point was good. All in all I'm happy with the Insignia so far

This TV is good quality for the price. Picture quality is excellent, it was easy to setup, and works well with all my other electronics. Only having 2 HDMI inputs is a bit discouraging, but it has been working extremely well.

went to the best buy and found a great deal on a 48" flat screen LED TV The staff was very helpful and informative and did not push me into something too big or out of my price range. I am very happy with my new TV.

No complaints about picture or sound quality. I've been using my home theater system since around a week after I purchased this, but for a flatscreen the speakers worked great for that week. No complaints about the screen, use it for an even mix of movies, tv, sports, and video games. The screen can keep up with sports and video games and, while I'm not an expert in this, the color/levels on the TV look good. Only complaint I have is that the glossy finish on the stand has developed some odd spots on it that I can't get off no matter what I've tried cleaning it with.

Bought this TV and have been very happy overall with the picture and sound quality for this big of a TV and at the price. Picture is only 60 htz. but does very well. Can't beat the TV at that price.

This is the second Insignia HDTV I've purchased and have not been let down yet. It's a quality product. Is it the best on the market? No, but for the price it's a fine product. Many people complain that the volume is too low, but this is truly a minor issue, so instead of having it on 8 or 9 it needs to around 13 - 15. I'd rather have to turn it up a bit louder than spend 3 times as much for a tv the same size. Check out my podcast : www.g33kpod.com/network/episodes

As a 48 inch TV cost only $300 with student promotion. It's so worthy. The resolutio is great and sound is better than I expect. Would be nicer adding one more HDMI port.

The picture is bright and crisp. Perfect for a bedroom or kitchen TV. The set up was easy and I decided to keep it on the stand so it is light enough to move around the house if I want to.
