I was skeptical about purchasing an Insignia tv but extremely happy we did! At first it was the price that intrigued us but then we pulled out our smartphones & started reading the reviews, which were all good. Since Best Buy has an excellent return policy, we thought we'd give the insignia brand a shot. It's been a few months now and we are so thrilled we made the right choice. This tv is used for watching movies and playing video games and it has a magnificent picture!

I decided to give this tv a 5 star rating mostly because of how much you get for the price. It's 1080p (universal HD standards), 2 HDMI ports which is a must have, all the basic RCA inputs and outputs, and an optical audio output for soundbars and home theater systems. Now for the quality of the actual picture is good. Not the best. But obviously if your buying an insignia at this price, you should know your not going to get the highest and sharpest quality of video. I use the tv mostly for everyday use. News, sports, basic cable, my Apple TV (of course, I recommend buying one), and gaming. The 60hz refresh rate held up surprisingly well for my Xbox 360 and PS4. Definitely worth the money! However I highly recommend getting a soundbar for it. The speakers on any of these flat screens these days are garbage.

This TV is used for gaming purposed. It's easy to set-up and customizing the picture is simple. One thing especially nice with this TV is the different inputs so I've been able to hook up machines from consoles to the classic Nintendo.

I had been looking for 48" TV to fit in a specific spot. After purchasing and returning a couple of duds from another store, I must say am VERY happy with Insignia after two months. I do not even have an HD box and yet the picture quality is excellent and even better than the more expensive models I compared it to. The sound is also very good and I don't think this TV needs a sound bar, as the bass response is more than adequate for my needs after adjusting. The IR sensor that picks up the signal from the remote is sensitive enough to pick up the signal from a good distance. Also, the TV start-up time is actually pretty fast in comparison to most.

I had a 50" Samsung Led in my room, but only last for a year and get blank image just after the guarantee expires.. then i choose this TV for the price, and get the same great image and quality than my previous TV, wich cost me a lot more. This tv is Great for that price..

This television is so clear. The affordability is just an added bonus. It was bought as a gift and my mother in law just loves it. She says it's the easier smart tv she has ever come in contact with.

Sales person did a good job of comparing the different brands. Not one of the high end extremely high Res tvs but very good picture for the price. Looks smaller at store against the 50 + inchers but big enough for our living room. Easy to install and set up. Satisfied so far.

people at port richey store were great at helping us with our old tv and the new one. great price on a light weight tv of large size. has a very clear picture and was easy to set up. small frame edge on it makes it look better than our old tv.

I'm a recent college grad who just moved to my first place. Don't have a large budget and this tv is a great buy. It's affordable and is an excellent TV. I recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good tv without all the extra add ons

I got this TV for a client giveaway and it was VERY well received. My purchase decision pretty much came down to bang for the buck and this TV had it. Its a BIG screen for a small price so my marketing dollars looked that much better :)

Great tv for price and size. Has clear picture and a lot of features. I've owen the same brand of tvs as this one and have had no issues.

This TV definitely met my expectations. Great clear picture and was very easy to set up plus the TV stand has a great modern look. The only thing is that I wish it had 3 HDMI outlets, other than that it is well worth the price.

If you are not wedded to high-profile name brands, I highly recommend the Insigna products. Great features and quality and an affordable price point. No complaints here.

I needed to upgrade my old TV. I found an open box deal I couldn't resist. The picture is great and setup was easy. You will have to adjust settings for best results. Enjoy this great deal!
