What is Insignia? Now I know it is an excellent TV. We were looking for a no-frills (easy to use) system with a great picture. At 48", this is it. Works perfectly!

It is great for the price, it's big and clear perfect for first home or people in a tight budget. I already had an Apple TV so I saw no point in a smart tv for now at least

I bought this t.v as an early Christmas present for my parents who wanted a larger screen t.v for their living room. It was easy to get set up and the quality of picture is very good. The first day or two there was a sort of "wave" in the middle of the screen but it was only really evident on certain kinds of shows and after that it disappeared. My parents are very pleased with it and I was impressed at the quality and size I got for the price.

We are really enjoying our TV. Excellent picture and was easy for my husband to set-up. This an additional Insignia TV to our house just a little larger.

I've had this TV two months now, and I think it is great. FANTASTIC SOUND SPEAKERS AND VOLUME! You don't have to increase the volume control to a high number to hear dialogue. I had to play around with the picture settings to tweak the picture the way I like it. I chose "Movie setting" because it was the clearest. The quality is great and the price cheaper than the more popular brands. The TV is a good buy.

the tv is great for the price and size . easy to set up and use . I only wish it had more imputs in the back, had to change the home theater system cabling because the composite and av imputs use the same connections.

Up grading from a 32" TV to a 48" HDTV has made a huge difference. I originally intended to get a 40" TV but the price difference was negligible. I bought this just before the start of the Women's World Cup and I was amazed at the quality of the picture and the ability to zoom in whenever I wanted to check out plays on the field. This is my second Insignia TV and I highly recommend the brand.

This is the 3rd 48" Insignia LED 1080p HDTV I've purchased in a little over a year. I originally purchased the Samsung 50" LED 1080p HDTV for the family room, but when I wanted another TV for Up North, which I use seasonally, I decided to try the Insignia. To my surprise, I didn't notice the difference in quality, picture, sound, and didn't even notice the 2" difference in screen size. I have since bought one for my Mother's house, and another for my master bedroom. For (-$320.00) less, your can afford to by 2 for the price of 1 Samsung. So far I am very pleased with the Insignia brand, and have had no problems or complaints. I highly recommend Insignia!

Insignia TVs always seem to look good in the store but I never know if they look that good at home. This one did not disappoint. Very bright colors, full HD, and very light. All in all, a good TV.

I wanted a TV for a second viewing location and didn't want to spend a lot of money. Compared it in-store to other similar size TVs and it's picture isn't quite as good as more expensive 48" TVs. I was more interested in cost than the absolute best picture. At home, it's proven to be a great picture. Audio quality is good enough for my use, about as good as any built in speakers can be. Highly recommended for those looking for a 48" HD-TV on a budget.

Just a little history, I upgraded from a 5 year old Insignia Plasma 720P TV. I never had any issues with Insignia as a brand, so I figured, why not. The only feature that made me hesitant was the 60Hz refresh rate. However, nothing we watch is at a higher refresh rate anyways, and personally, the picture on the high end TVs just look fake. I am more than pleased with this TV. We play Call Of Duty and watch a ton of Netflix. I have yet to notice any "motion blur." I did make some minor adjustments to the back-light settings and brightness settings to make the blacks look better, but other than that, awesome TV.

It's a beautiful, inexpensive HDTV. Yes there are better tv's out there but for the price this one is hard to beat.
