Bought this at black Friday pricing for a bedroom tv. Vesa mounts are a coming 200x200 so wall mounting is easy. Decent picture, sound quality is good, no smart features, but it has 3 HDMI so you can add a fire stick easily. For a couple hundred dollars, you can't go wrong.

I read all of the reviews on here before i purchased this tv and im very happy with my purchase. It has a nice big screen with an excellent picture. The sound quality is also very good. I like that the remote is small and not big and bulky. I would recommend this product.

I could have spent more on a fancy UHD TV but all we needed was something to replace an older flat panel in the bedroom so this set was perfect for that. Also this set would serve nicely in a smaller setting like in an apartment, guest room or game room. Great picture.

We were in the market for a 47 inch tv to replace our old horrible Sanyo (whole other review) anywho we found this gem at a bigger size and a smaller price! Love this TV, the only downside and its small was the sound. The volume was not good, but we purchased the inexpensive Insignia sound bar and now all is well:)

Went in to Best Buy just comparing prices. Amazed at the deal on this TV. Birthday present for my son who has been so happy since I got home. Great picture and color and depth. I could not be more happy and am getting another if my other son wants it for his birthday.

Bought this to replace my old TV that had died. The picture quality is great and the sound is awesome. The picture isn't mind blowing but I was actually surprised with the quality. This is a fairly good buy.

I upgraded from a 27 inch screen to this 48 inch and I couldn't be happier. I mainly use it to watch dvd's on my Blueray player. The picture quality is clear and colors are crisp. The sound is pretty low and for some movie I have to max it out but other than that, for the price its great T.V. for me.

We got this TV for our living room. Typically my husband is brand loyal, however we honestly didn't have nor want to spend the extra money on a "name brand" TV. That being said earlier this spring we bought a smaller version of the insignia and have had no problems with it, so we ventured out and got this larger one. We've had it for a little over a month now. The picture quality is awesome, no complaints - however no HDMI cables are provided so you'll need to purchase your own. The sound quality we were happily surprised by because our other "name brand" TV has less than stellar speakers BUT this Insignia I can hear perfect at 5-10. If younlike to watch older movies and such I would recommend a sound bar since they didn't have the same audio quality. Overall very satisfied with our purchase and will recommend this brand as well as likely be loyal to the Insignia brand as it's a great quality.

Overall this is a great tv. I bought mine open box and it looked and worked perfect. Only down sides are that it is not a smart tv (i got a chromecast for it) and that the remote has stopped working after about a year. I would buy this tv again for a patio or relaxing any where.

This was our first flat screen and has now been in the house for several years. It has exceeded all my expectations. No glitches, no problems. Currently operates as the kids gaming tv and some movies, but that's only because we went larger for our main screen.

We looked at TVs that were twice the price of this Best Buy "house brand" but the reviews for this model (which Best Buy posted next to the TV - thank you) were very good. We are happy with this size and the quality of the picture. And the price was right.

I check out other tvs and it was not a "smart" tv and asked associate what the difference was I need a tv in a hurry and told them I had a firestick and they said this would work perfect with that and it has awesome tv for the price and awesome for my needs.

Very nice sized screen for the price - this TV was good for classic gaming as it had an older traditional yellow/white/red input as well as modern HDMI inputs which I really needed. Best Buy also price matched a competitor so I got a great deal as well!

I had looked around online at reviews for televisions before going into my local Bestbuy and was very happy with both the selection and price options that they had. This HDTV has been great from an easy setup to excellent picture and sound quality.

We purchased this TV for the bedroom so we really didn't need a smart TV. It has a great picture for a cheaper set. We are very pleased with this purchase. It is large enough to see the picture with my contacts out! I would purchase this brand again.

Had doubts about getting this television at first . But for the price I gave it a try. After taking it home and connecting to my system I was thrilled. This was a excellent buy. I am very pleased with everything. Connection was a breeze.

After weighing several factors when purchasing a new HDTV, we decided to go for value over features and couldn't be much happier with the Insignia 48" HDTV. We have plenty of our own peripherals to add, so no need for a "smart" TV but needed plenty of inputs, and this set has more than some others we reviewed. It also has a couple audio output options, both of which work well for us, after adding an adapter for the optical output. No biggie. The picture quality of adjustability are awesome, and we added an Insignia sound bar to go with our existing subwoofer, so audio is right on. A couple quirks, if you have both Insignia TV and sound bar, expect difficulty if you want your remote to adjust volume on one but not the other; black tape over the sound bar's IR sensor solved that problem! And the TV's audio requires one click just to wake it up before the volume is actually changed. Eh. All in all, after purchasing this HDTV for just $229, I couldn't be happier.

My latest Flat screen was the insignia 48 in. I was skeptical at buying a Best Buy brand but what a great decision this TV exceeded all my expectations in price quality and features

I wa looking for a tv for a low price and insignia is a great quality tv for that. Great picture but sound quality needs to improve. Bought a sound bar for that though. Very happy would buy another insignia in future.

I was looking for a TV for my office but I didn't want to spend too much as I already had two Sony TVs. After comparing this tv to numerous others in the same size, at the price, I couldn't pass it up. I would normally buy one of the high end brands with 120 hz for a living room or bedroom, but with the limited time I would watch on this set, this was the best value. Not a perfect TV by any means and can't match the clarity/motion/brightness of some of the high end brands but great for its intended use.
