I waited a while before giving my review so that I could make sure the TV works well. This TV was so inexpensive, I was worried, but the picture is excellent and has worked flawlessly. Ir's not a smart TV, but t I have a smart DVD player so that was no problem. Easy to use, easy remote, 3 hdmi ports so you get a great picture with many inputs. This TV is a really good deal.

Bought the " dumb " TV as an inexpensive option to the Smart TV that were 100 more. With the TV I bought a "smart" BLURay player that has all the apps needed and plays dvds. Its light weight. good picture and easy set up. Saves energy better than the smart TV's as Cali. energy guide requirements. 20.00 as oppose to 65.00 with Smart TV's

Bought this tv for our workout room. The picture is great for what it is used for and is also an excellent gaming monitor as it has very low input lag. Overall this was worth the price. Not only did I get a nice tv that didn't break the bank, but also one that I can play games competitively on without the lag most other tvs suffer.

I bought this TV as my own Christmas Gift during Black Friday. And with the deal I got this TV is incredible. I have had no issues what so ever. It's very easy to use and the picture quality is great! Comparing it to higher brands for the price point your getting a tv similar in quality. Would I say it's the same? No but very close.

This is a great tv. Very good price. Easy to set up.

Not expecting much from a cheap tv, I was proved wrong and wrong again and again. This tv looks and sounds better than my premium brand 1080p tv. For a very small fraction of the price I paid. My only disappointment is not buying it sooner and instead of spending so much money on the other brands. This is a great buy.

Hello, so I had planned on spending big bucks $$$ upwards of $1000 on a LG or Samsung 50" TV but when I went to look at them before purchasing one I saw this little Jem on sale. At first I was skeptical but when I compared it to the other TVs it was more bang for the buck. Paid right around $280 on sale for the 50" version and I love it. It's darks are cool and it's brights are warm making a perfect combination. So glad I saved the money on making this purchase rather than an LG or Samsung I actually had enough left for a nice entertainment center to go with it. Definitely won't be disappointed with this product.

The television performs OK. it was on sale for $230 when I purchased it. If you're just looking for a large, affordable TV and aren't concerned with the quality of picture or sound then I highly recommend this product. It's light weight and easy to screw the stand on. The picture is clear but it doesn't seem to be as crisp and bright as the other HD TVs I have. The sound is a bit muffled. I didn't do research prior to shopping because I wasn't planning to make a purchase, but saw this and it seemed too good to pass up. We moved our 42" Dynex TV to the basement. That picture and sound quality is SO much better than this. The only reason I haven't brought it back upstairs to the family room is because it's heavy (2009 model flat screen). The picture and sound quality on my 2007 Sanyo is also better. This isn't a bad TV, it's just more if an entry model and I didn't realize that. I guess that's a risk when impulse buying. A friend bought the same TV and loves it, so I think it's a matter of personal preferences.

Looking for a value priced TV for family room. Set up was easy and no problem mounting on wall. This isn't used as a home theater set up- just needed basic TV hooked up to Amazon Fire. I had previously purchased an Insignia brand TV for my mother that she was very happy with. The remote is small but functional.

The TV is just overall great, picture quality, color, contrast, and sharpness are certainly better than the price would indicate, TV was about 100-150 dollars less than comparable sized TVs in the store. Overall I am very pleased with the TV, and would definitely by another Insignia product.

Good picture quality , user friendly and lightweight

This TV actually blew me away. I have a home full of big screens that includes Sony Bravia, 3d Samsung, etc. and this holds its own. The value for the price is unmatched. The picture is crystal clear and it even has some really cool bonus features. For instance, to name a few, it has some beautiful HD screen savers and I can also label my HDMI ports; meaning, instead of having HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc., I can change the labels to say Blu Ray player, Firestick, Xbox, etc. That's really helpful for the wife and even works for me. Although I use surround sound on all of my tv's the inboard audio isn't bad. Additionally, you get 3 HDMI ports along with the other options which is usually something your'e shorted with similar priced items. You won't be disappointed. I honestly bought it as a last resort in the event I was unable to find the tv in stock I really wanted on Black Friday. I didn't even keep looking after I tested this baby. This was a steal!!
