Purchased this TV for my 90 year old mother. It's easy to operate and has a fantastic picture. She says it's like being in a movie theater compared to her old 32 inch LCD. I highly recommend the Insignia line of Best Buy products. Would certainly purchase again.

We've purchased a few INSIGNIA TV's over the last few years and have had no issues. They've all been great. Not the best available technology-wise if you ask an expert, but if you're just looking for a great TV that doesn't cost a fortune, this is it.

I got this on black friday, last one on the shelf. The family and I just wanted a bigger tv than the one we had, didn't need the smart aspect since we have playstation, xbox, fire stick, all the smart devices. The TV was a great deal, beautiful picture and a great size for the area. Very happy

My husband and I walked in to exchange something that I got the day before. As we were walking to customer service, we stumbled across this tv for $229. Needless to say, we jumped on that deal and walked out with a brand new tv. And we love it!

Great tv for the price. Good picture quality. It has 1080p, but I was hesitant about the slow 60hz, but I can't even tell on the screen. Good size tv for any room. I was replacing my master bedroom tv which was 6 years old. Can't beat the price

This 48-inch television has very nice picture and sound quality. It was not difficult to install (said my husband), and is simple to understand. The remote does not look like a scientific calculator, is easy enough to use without directions.

Picture is very clear, and excellent color. TV very easy to set up. Haven't played any games on it, but not what I wanted it to do anyway. A great TV for the low cost. Using it for a cabin so didn't want to spend a lot, very pleased.

I had three 32" Insignia TV. Recently, one failed to make it through an interstate move. I decided to go larger with its replacement. This 48" has a very slim frame with a marvelous picture. I'm sold on the value of the Insignia brand

My old tv popped and died so I needed new. I was not interested in a smart tv but wanted about 50'. There was limited choices; most are smart tvs. This tv had good picture quality in the store compared to others and was very reasonably priced. We've been happy with it so far!

This tv has a gorgeous picture and it honestly looks bigger than it says it is. It is made by Sharp and is of the same great quality they are known for. I definitely recommend to anyone who needs a great tv for a even better price.

I was pleastantly surprised by how clear and precise the picture was on this TV. Very sharp and clear even when viewing from across a large room. Sound is good but could be richer. For a larger TV at this price it's fantastic..

I must admit my first thought about buying a non big name brand tv was that it'd be junk. I was wrong. This tv has a crisp and very nice picture. For 250, you're cannot beat this tv size and picture. Well done insignia.

The tv is great for the money. Not a 4k TV but who cares. The picture is sharp. Only things I'd change is the sound and remote. The sound is tinny and quiet and the remote is smaller than a iPhone 4. If you have a sound bar or surround system use it.

I have had my insignia 48" tv for a year now and could not be happier with my purchase...got a great deal from best buy which is becoming a norm and this tv has performed well...no problems for 12 months...as best buy pointed out, the 16 watts of sound this tv has is adequate but not great...I believe this is common with all larger screen TV's due to design and not a dig on insignia...ended up buying a sound bar as best buy recommended and that cured any sound issues....I would definitely buy this again and would recommend anyone shopping for a good tv to give this a look...I looked at amazon and Walmart before buying and found this to be the best deal for the best price.....

I bought this tv after my toddler broke my very expensive 60in 4k smart tv. I purchased it for $229 on sale and in my opinion its a great tv for the cost. Its not a smart tv like my previous one. However it has 3 hdmi ports that you can easily plug your gaming system, blu ray player, or firestick into and still make it smart. As for the picture quality its 1080p resolution and despite the low refresh rate the picture is still great with no hesitancy. The volume however is lacking something to be desired. A surround system may improve it. Im considering purchasing one so i will let you know. But in a whole this tv was a great buy for the cost.

I bought this TV for my office. I love it. Great picture, easy to mount on the wall, and great price! Plus, 3 HDMI inputs, which was a must for me as I also use it for presentations from my PC.

Went into Best Buy looking for a new tv. I didn't want a "smart tv" because I already have a fire stick that connects to all the media outlets that I view. Saw this Insiginia tv and read some reviews. All pretty positive. So far it had done what I needed it to do. A basic tv with ample HDMI ports (3). Screen brightness is great and the different modes really help. Volume is excellent on this tv. No sound bar needed. Maybe if it was in the living it would need it. But for a single room, this tv is perfect. Very minimal bezels around the screen so the picture looks great. No issues of heating or picture burn or power loss. I will update at the 6 month mark.
