Excellent picture and features. There are several viewing modes (movie, standard, and others). The HDMI ports are great for using with streaming media players and game systems. The picture is much better than Westinghouse. Insignia uses great LCD/LED panels for their TVs. Highly recommended. My wife and I bought the TV for our dining room, and it works great for us.

After having bought 4 TV's trying to find one with an analog headphone port, I finally found this TV. I really wanted an LG model, because their picture is so beautiful, but none of them had the analog port (even though they showed online that they did!), and my hearing aid device was not compatible, even trying to use a toslink, so I settled on this model. I can honestly say I'm not too sorry! The picture is beautiful, even the blacks, with no pixelation noticeable. I still regret buying my 52" Insignia for my living room, and scream at the horrible picture, especially when it's black! But this model is quite beautiful! The remote is short and sweet, easy to use, and glows in the dark, which goes well with my watching TV in bed, while the wifey grabs her nightly shut-eye! It makes it very easy to jump back-and-forth between regular TV and streaming devices. It is very comfortable to hold, which is great for my arthritic hands. There are multiple HDMI outlets, and a USB port, as well as the aforementioned analog headset port. While there may be other models this size with more bells and whistles, overall, I defy anyone to find this type of quality for the same amount of money. This is a really great bargain, and I am a very happy lady!

A good tv for a great price! It's very dependable and looks great.

TV's are like cars...the same make and model is a dream for some, horrible for others. I for one love this tv. I bought Best Buy brands for years now and haven't had any problems with them at all. Another reason I buy their brand because if anything does go wrong, I'm right by the store to get it fixed or replaced. But never have I needed to do so with my tv's. And this one is just as nice. The only thing you may want to do with it is customize the screen settings. The presets are ok, but give it a few instances; i.e gaming, Blu-Ray, streaming, etc. Once you see it under all instances, you'll get a feel for what works for you. Mine is fine under the default "Custom" setting. The blacks are nice, whereas "Vivid" seemed to be a bit too bright. Once again, customizing the settings took care of this. I played my XBox with this tv and it looks great! No lag I have seen so far. I used my pc to game as well and it seem to handle things quite nicely. Overall, a great buy for the money. I've had a Dynex 50" plasma that lasted for years...so much so I gave it away and it was still in great shape 6 years later., This is my second Insignia tv and I am growing fond of this brand over others that are just way too bloated for my taste.

Didn't intend to buy a tv the day I got this one to replace ours that just crashed the day before. We planned on waiting, but at this price we didn't have to. Nice picture, very thin border and very thin tv overall. Up and working in just a few minutes. Got the 5 yr. warranty.

This tv does the job and the size is just right. Can't go wrong.
