Overall the actual product itself is impressive. The picture quality is superb - clear, bright and focused. The added benefit of having built-in Roku is great. While the premium channels (Netflix, Hulu, and the like) require subscriptions, there are hundreds of other channels that are free and expand your viewing opportunities tremendously. It is easy to use, set up was quick and it was up and running within minutes. My only "negative" statement is that I do wish it had an option to connect via LAN in addition to wireless. Luckily we have a strong wi-fi signal and have not run into any issues but I could see where it would be useful to have the ability to have a wired connection. Other than that - I'd have no hesitation recommending this product.

Needed new tv for bedroom. Checked reviews. On the insigna . My wife and I went to Best Buy to check it out great picture smart tv for under.300 out the door. Works great easy set-up.

This an awesome tv with clear picture, awesome sound and easy to operate. The built in smart roku is easy to setup and easier to navigate. I actually bought 2 of these tvs. A great deal too

This is an excellent television for the price. The preset Roku smart tv is the best feature. Just have your Wi-Fi available and you are ready to go. Picture is very nice.

I've had this tv for 6 months now and I haven't had any trouble with it at all. I added a soundbar to enhance the sound, however, the built-in speakers weren't too bad. The picture quality is very good and the Roku functions work great. The only downside is the remote as it is a Roku remote. I use OTA and Internet streaming only so there is no efficient way to change channels. This is a non-issue if you have cable or satellite. I bought two of these sets at the same time because the price was so good. Unless you just have to have all the whistles and bells this is one of the best deals out there.

The quality of picture in this tv is excellent. There was a great deal going on at the time of this purchase and I'm very glad that I decided to treat myself for a change. The only draw back is that the remote does not have any numerical buttons, for those of us that still have cable, the lack of number keys makes accessing a specific channel a little cumbersome. To get around it I just search for the name of the show, which is a small added inconvenience.

Great picture. The roku was pretty easy to navigate and set up. This was the first tv purchase in 10 years. Well worth the money. This was actually an "open" box model and I was given free shipping to my house. The down side is if I wasn't home when it arrived, everyone who sees the box on my porch could be tempted to steal it. It would have been nice to have more Descreet packaging versus a life size picture of the tv on the box just for security reasons.

Not a lot of whistles and bells but a very good picture. The speakers are ok but if you want a better qualify sound you'll need to hook up a sound system. Changing between the Roku and live TV is a bit awkward as you have to go to the app screen to switch devices instead of a hot key on remote. The remote is the weakest part. It's a Roku remote and has limited functions. All in all this is a very good deal for the price.

when i got this tv it was one of the cheapest around and i honestly wasnt expecting much, the image is sharper and cleaner looking than some of the much more expensive ones, the only thing i was worried about was the sound since it had some reviews online saying the speakers weren't great sure it's not surround sound or anything but they're plenty loud enough. i think it's a great tv anyone who wouldn't recommend it must have a lot more money than i do.

For the price ($150) this is a pretty decent, large, smart tv. I own another insignia tv that is also really nice, but its not a smart tv. Good quality, good picture, easy setup. The apps on roku are just ok. Wish you could select which input to default to, but ,overall i would buy this again. If i didn't pay over 150 for it.

When it comes to smart TVs, I have long been put off by the various proprietary OS systems that manufacturers use. Fortunately, Roku TVs solve that issue. I have long been a fan of the Rukh who operating system and I am very glad it is now coming to TVs. At first I was hesitant about purchasing an insignia TV, as I have had issues with them in the past. But Best Buy instead of very good job of improving as their storebrand electronics. The picture quality is very good, and there are several different ways you can customize the picture from picture mode to lighting mode and so forth. The speakers are also quite powerful and produce a rich, clear some sound. Is the remotes can vary, but mine came with buttons for Netflix, Hulu, sling, and Google play. I love the fact that it's small and compact and doesn't have a lot of extra buttons on it. You're the best part by far is the Roku operating system. It has tons of both free and paid apps, and easy way to keep track and search for all of my content across all apps. And a very easy to use interface. Only thing that prevents me from getting this product five stars is the fact that it does not have an ethernet port, so that you can connect it to an ethernet cable via USB to ethernet adapter. All in all, if you're looking for a nice easy to use smart TV, I would highly recommend this.

For the price,this is a great tv..very plain,color is great...sound could be a little better,but the addition of an inexpensive sound bar fixes that.My only complaint would be the remote:it is very small and the volume controls are on the side...makes it difficult to pick up the remote or to change channels without changing volume or muting the sound.If Insignia would make a larger remote it would be perfect.

Highly recommend buying this TV considering the picture quality, features and price.
