This TV is awesome. I mounted it in my living room (which was an easy task) and haven't regretting buying it at all. It plays movies and tv shows beautifully and I've never had any trouble with it at all.

The tv is a good value for the money. I purchased and have not had any issues thus far. The pic is good, not sure how it would be for HD gaming. The sound is not the greatest but better than a lot of tv's at this price point.

Let's be honest, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the really expensive TVs out there, but this is a great HD tv and the picture looks great. Can't beat the price! Perfect TV for your bedroom.

I bought this television to help improve my quality of life; I had an older model television and it still worked but was very limited in the amount of channels and the quality of the shows I wanted to see were was erratic at best. The amount I paid for the Insignia 50" was the most that I had to spend; I am very glad that I purchased this television, I am actually starting to move into the 21st century. I use an antenna so I am limited in what I can watch; but with my new television, I watch more digital shows and the quality of the picture is outstanding for my old eyes. I am very glad I was able to purchase this television. Best Buy brand items have proven to be some of the best items one can purchase.

I was Leery buying an insignia tv as it is known to be a bargain brand- took a chance on this tv and love it. Good picture at a great price especially if you don’t need all the bells and whistles!

Best Buys brand of TV great value, great TV. Was a little skeptical at first since we hadn't bought Insignia brand before, we are very pleased and will probably come back for next big purchase.

If a little pixeling around images doesn’t bother you, then this is a great big inexpensive tv made for you. I mean minimal. From a distance greater than 6 feet you can’t see anything but a bright clear crisp picture. 3 hdmi inputs is plenty. USB is a plus. Remote is stupid simple. Stand in excellent. Sound is clear and actually loud and clear at high volume. No crackling. Run a hd player and the minor pixeling is gone. It doesn’t have the tech of 600 dollar TVs to eliminate pixeling that certain tv providers may give you. Like over the air. Spectrum is very good so the tv doesn’t have to much to scan to clean up the edges. Overall a solid investment. Now let’s see how long it lasts without burning out. So far so good.

This is a quality tv at a great price. If you don't need all the bells and whistles and are just looking for a tv that won't give you any trouble, this Insignia (like all Insignias) is a great option!

This Insignia Model Has Vibrant Color And Doesn't Need A Sound Bar. It Has 2 8 Watt Speakers That Really Deliver Great Audio. The Stereo Sound Is Awesome For Any Large Room. No Regrets Here !

No issues with this at all. It replaced a plasma in a small room so it was worth it in the temperature change alone. Very good picture, great value as far as Im concerned.

Bought it for the family room. It’s a great tv to keep small guest occupied while moms and dads visit! It will come in handy for the holidays! Very easy to hook up sound bar and cable box to it.

Being a product line designed to be a low cost alternative to comparable big name manufactures this Model TV continues that objective. I could find no cons for this TV in this price range.One feature is the very good sensitivity of the remote control.,,which is very important to avoid frustration when controlling the features. This is the second Insignia TV I have purchased.Both have performed as desired and expected. Insignia being manufactured by unknown manufactures,has done a great service by choosing quality manufactures to put their name to.

All I can say is wow! Great tv for the price. East set up, beautiful picture quality. No, it's not a snart tv, but we bought it for my mother in a nursing home. Would definitely buy another

The set up is very easy. I brought this to my Mom who is living in the senior apartment. She is able to receive many channels by using flat indoor antenna. A great TV with cheap price!

The setup was extremely easy, color quality - perfect, and everything hooked up to my current devices. This is the best buy for a TV this size. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Good spare and kids room tv. Color needs slight adjustments, the built-in suite was lacking, not sure why cheaper tv's don't have good color correction suites. The viewing angle is good compared to older model tv's and other tv's in this price range. Great for wall mounting since it is light and the HDMI inputs face to the side instead of to the rear. RJ45 is still rear facing. I bought 2, no dead pixels or issues. I only had them for a month, I wished the Insignia still had a long 2 year warranty. No smart functions but not really needed.

I purchased this TV with the intentions of adding a apple tv. The price is really good and the longevity of the product because it is a plug and play. Remember to add it to a surge protector.

Great tv. Great picture and sound. Easy set up. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the base could be a lot more sturdy. TV wiggles very easily since it's sitting on base instead of wall mounted.

I have purchased an Insignia tv in the past and it has lasted for years. This new unit works great, in my opinion it can't be beat for the price. Nice picture and all the features you need at a great price.

This Insignia tv is exactly what I needed. The picture quality is excellent, sound is really good, and setup was extremely easy. Above all, the price at $250 for a 50 inch tv cannot be beat.
