    Very professional "Geeks" came out and installed TV mount and mounted 52" TV. They connected an AppleTV and made sure everything worked. I couldn't be happier with the quality of service I received. Will definitely use again.

    Guys were friendly and professional. There was some confusion about what services were ordered and they wound up charging extra, but got that all straightened out after the fact. I bought my own mount and they were very thorough in clean up. I rescued the manual from their "trash" but forgot about the level/stud finder that came with the mount and they unfortunately took it with them.

    Great HDTV, Disappointing Surround Sound

    Purchased a 65 in. Samsung HDTV 3D Smart TV with a Samsung surround sound and 3D blue ray DVD player. I love the TV and all of the features especially the 3D with the 3D blue ray player. I was somewhat disappointed with set up from the Geek Squad. The Tech. did an excellent job, however I misread what I was paying for and felt the approx. $160.00 for a set up of the tv and surround system was a little much considering they did not calibrate the TV. That is an additional $250.00 for the calibration. Even though it was my fault for not reading the fine print detailing what I was getting for my $160.00. I will have to pay an additional $250.00 for the calibration. Since I have already have about $3000.00 invested I might as well pay the $250.00 to ensure I get the best possible picture. The surround sound system is a Samsung, 5 speaker with the bass being a passive sub. This system does very little to improve the audio and I will invest in a higher quality system to enhance the audio for my TV. There is not anything wrong with the system, it is just not powerful enough to do what a surround sound system for this type of HDTV should do. Again, my fault for not buying a better system. It is great for small rooms or maybe a bedroom. I will invest in a higher quality surround sound system in the near future.

    Have been watching my new tv for two weeks now....amazing set! I already had one LG tv, so navigating the settings, options, etc. was a breeze. This LG replaced a Toshiba DLP purchased in 2005, and what a difference! Watching MORE tv now, just to enjoy the picture, color, size, clarity, EVERYTHING about this tv. Best Buy had a great price on this model, along with the free sound bar, and a discount on the Geek Squad set-up. Couldn't be happier!!!!!

    Geek Squad came out to install TV and set up components (TiVo and Blue Ray). The first technician told us he could not get things to work b/c our cable cards were bad. We took another day off of work for cable company to come back. Cable cards were absolutely fine. Called Geek Squad back and a different technician came out. He said things didn't work because our (brand new) TiVo was faulty. We were also having issues with our remote and were told that it must be old and starting to go. Before calling TiVo, I decided to give setup a try myself. Guess what? By following the included set up directions (something Geek Squad did not reference), I had it set up in literally 5 minutes. The remote? Needed to be reprogrammed, which I also figured out by following TiVo prompts. I guess Geek Squad is trained to say equipment is broken if they don't know what to do, thereby costing the customer more money. I called Best Buy to complain. Corporate office said they would not refund my money because I had paid for a wall mount with the installation. I asked them to deduct price of mount and just refund service, but they said this was not possible and referred me to my local store. Spoke to GM of local store who said the Geek Squad manager should handle my complaint and that he would call me back when he was in. It's been 2 weeks, and I am still waiting for that call.

    mounting on the wall needs to be redone with correct bracket. Best buy may not sell the correct mouting if your studs are 24 inch. maybe if it falls off the wall they will come pick up the pieces. I will be sad it a good TV, but I wish I had been able to afford the ole maybe after it falls off the wall I can get the ole as a replacement.

    The techs arrived ontime and wore booties. They discussed with us the project and made some suggestions. They were professional,courteous and friendly. They took the time to show us how to access our blu Ray,sound bar TV, internet on the TV etc. Thanks so much. Well worth the price.

    We had a Geek Squad tech come out to install our new flat screen. Glad I did. It involved a blu ray player, home theatre system and directv. Fast, efficient and knowledgeable. Well with the money.

    Purchased an LG 65 inch TV......could have hooked this up probably with my son, but didn't want to take the chance. The TV is too fragile and if a mistake was going to be made, it wouldn't be mine!!! The guys were great! Hooked everything up and made sure I understood everything. Very professional, and would definitely use again.

    We are technically illiterate so the Geek Squad was a life saver for us. They were very efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. They gave us tips we would have never thought of. There would have been no way we could have set up our new TV the way they did with out taking us several hours. Well worth the extra cost.

    I'm not giving it 5 stars because they messed up while scheduling the appointment the first time and wasted my Saturday because of that. Basically something happened that my appointment didn't properly get set up on their system and I only learned it when they didn't show up and I had to wait for another week. When they did come they worked pretty fast and were done within 30 minutes, no complaints there. Just make sure you get the appointment confirmation email.

    Geek squad scheduled my appointment with ease. I love the fact that the technician called me when they were in route to do the installation. Both technicians were courteous, neat and very helpful in setting up my new tv. When the service was complete everything was left in a clean neat manner. I highly recommend getting this service for installation of larger tv's. Well worth the price.

    Folks, I think you may as well go back to the delivery person setting up the TV. Geek Squad is a fancy way to build sales, but really, I saw no value added, especially since your agent left Spanish as the preferred language, and there is nothing wrong about that if you know Spanish. Also I asked your agent to call me and he said he would call but didn't. Jimbo

    I had major problems with my Geek Squad installation. First, when I called to schedule my appointment, I was told I was missing installation components that were required for what I needed done. I was willing to add those on and pay for them, but I was told that the person I was talking to did not have the authority to do that. She finally told me she would call me back once the issue was sorted out. I was told that they were scheduling me for the following week, and that everything for the appointment was done. I spent the whole scheduled day waiting for a tech (window was from 12-4), but nobody came. I called Geek Squad around 2 to see if I was going to receive someone, and I was told that yes, I'm on the list for the day. When I called at 3:30, I was told that there was no appointment scheduled for me! I spoke to two people that day who were quite rude and unhelpful, asking me questions like I was lying and had to prove my "story". One person even hung up on me! It took 3 calls before I got to someone who scheduled my appointment - another week later - and actually helped me out. I was incredibly disappointed with Geek Squad this time. I have usually had smooth service, and this was quite a shock. I will think very carefully before using Geek Squad again.

    Vince and DJ were great, polite and professional. They set up my TV, connected it to my Sonos, X box and cable box and made sure everything worked properly before leaving. I did subtract one star because they arrived just past the appointment window.

    75" television wall mounted, and centered on wall correctly. Cable and modem hooked up and running. The showed me the basics of how to get thru the menus since it was a smart TV. Well worth the money to have a delivery team do a television this size.

    My original order never came, order a Black Friday special 55' Samsung . Went to the store and after manager said he can do nothing I decided to cancel the entire order and just buy a more expensive tv . The entire experience sucked and no discounts where given to me because they said they can't because Sony doesn't allow it. Best Buy is a huge company and that explanation is not except able. My credit card was refunded money back without a phone call by geek squad which I also ordered to have them bring a mount rack and install my Samsung. The new Sony finally came and the 2 geek squad guys did a good job installing it. The only good part is this entire 3-4 week ordeal

    The Geek Squad guys where awsome!! They were worth every penny spent!! First they were very friendly, and professional. They came in prepared and put on shoe covers. Got right to setting everything up. They hook up everything, got it running, Then wrapped up wires neatly, made sure I was satisfied before leaving. Awsome!!

    There was a bit of a glitch when I placed my order online. I never got a notice that would have to schedule install - thought that was done with my order. However, when I reached Geek Squad to get scheduled they responded quickly and professionally. Only two days delay and did a beautiful job! Thank you Alex!

    Delighted with his TV it’s the best we’ve ever owned. The color and clarity is brilliant. As usual with flat screen TVs the speakers are average, but if you’re going to own a big screen TV why wouldn’t you buy surround sound speakers? We hooked our set up to a BOse system and we love this combination
