This beard trimmer works extremely well, I just feel it is a bulky, hard to reach right under the nose and a little hard to clean. For the past 10yrs I had been buying a cheaper model Norelco for $20 and all of the issues i have with this model didn’t exist. I would have purchased the same cheaper model, but it’s no longer in production. Overall I am satisfied with this beard trimmer and the more I use it, the more I am getting used to the bulkiness.

This review is coming from an individual who has been using the Norelco G370 before. I absolutely loved the G370. The versatility of that trimmer is nothing short of amazing. It had many attachments - adjustable lengths, nose trimmer, close shave trimmer, fine head, regular head, and I believe I'm missing one, but oh well. All you have to know that it was my favorite trimmer. The biggest downside was the charging time, and the discharge time. It needed 10 HOURS, to charge for 30 minutes of use. Needless to say, it wasn't always there for me. Here comes the Norelco 5100. Right off the bat, what really caught my eye on this product was the 5 YEAR WARRANTY. Yes, you heard that right. It's completely optional, as you have to register for the 5 year warranty. I believe if you don't sign up for it, you get a standard of 2 years. Anyways, back to the actual trimmer. It's much bigger than the G370. However, it has a nice heft, and shape to it. It comes with a regular buzzer, and 3 attachments. One being a very short beard setting, medium beard, and long beard, though there's very little difference between medium and long. It has a knob in the middle that rotates, and each rotation determines what offset the blade is from the attachment. It ranges from 0.4mm to 13mm, with 0.4-7mm going in 0.2 mm increments, then after that it's 1mm. It gives you a decent gap between lengths. The unit itself is actually completely waterproof. You can wash this thing right after you use it to clean it all off. I don't actually turn it on while it's wet or under water, because i still don't want to risk it, but know that i've washed it every time i trimmed myself. This thing also works on hair, too. I've use the medium beard attachment and adjusted with the knob to the setting i like, and start cutting. It cuts really well, for both hair and beard. The battery life on this thing is amazing. 1 hour of charge yields 70 minutes of usage. This is lightyears ahead compared to the G370's 10 hour charge for 30 minutes of use. Overall, I would recommend this unit to anyone who is considering it. Hope this review was helpful.

Item totally worth the price. Easily adjustable Performs well even with short beard. This is an excellent product and Easy to use and compact and rechargeable.

Honestly, this is my second Norelco trimmer and it never fails. I purchased my first one about 5 years back and the only reason I upgraded is because I lost my charger lol. I also purchased a new one because they are so modestly priced. The fact that it's water resistant make this even better. I use this to buzz cut my hair and it works great in the shower. The dial system to adjust the length is the best thing about this. It's a sturdy metal knob that adjusts the length of the blade, giving you an even trim with each glide. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

Bought this based on my previous experience with the 3500 series trimmer. Very smother, good batt life, and charges very quick.

I use this maybe once a week for my beard and head, but I have only charged it once so far and it seems to be maintaining the power level. I've only used about a month and a half so far but I do like how close it shaves my head. My wife like a little stubble, but it's still pretty close. it recommends not charging it frequently as it will shorten the life of the battery, so I guess I won't charge it until I notice a change in power. Like the different trimmer accessories so I can trim the beard to the shortness I want.

I am a big fan of this buzzer. It is sleek and cuts smoothly. The battery life will last a while. Enjoyed it so much, I bought one for my dad for Christmas.

This beard trimmer is outstanding. It trims to an extremely close level, if desired. It is the first beard trimmer that trims effectively under the nose. It is very easy to use and clean. I just run it under water when finished. Be careful if you don't want to trim your beard too close. The lowest setting will trim your beard down to a one day growth. Overall, I love this beard trimmer.

This is a great beard and hair trimmer. It comes with a few different color coded comb lengths to help you achieve anything from the hipster stubble to a rugged woodsman look. It's even water resistant to aid in clean up. Probably the best feature is running while plugged into the wall. It doesn't run and charge at the same time, but it saves you from a half-done trim job. No one wants that. You do want this however.

I do d a pile of research and this one was on the short list. Despite how many bearded hipsters there are these days, you’d think there’d be more options but they likely trim with fancy scissors or something. Anyway, I’ve only used it for about a month so cannot say much for longevity but so far, so good. Sharp blades, trims smoothly and the attachments are decent. I do find it a tad bulky but only compared to my last trimmer. No major complaints and reasonably priced.

I want to trim my mustache to short but not nothing. This trimmer helps a lot to make the task super easy and consistent. Save me a lot of time!

This is by far the best beard head trimmer ever I've only charged it once and it's lasted for over a week trimming daily. I use it mainly to shave my head and it takes it close as I like it. I've tried Braun units and other norelco units in the past but non could compete with this unit.

I have owned many trimmers by pretty much all the major brands and this is by far the best. The battery last a long time without needing a charge and is very powerful. Wish it came with a few more attachments but not a deal breaker. This trimmer is well worth the money.

This is a very good trimmer that does edges and overall trimming very very well.
