Don't purchase these headphones.
I purchased these Academy 512-PHP headphones on Nov 10, 2022 and the headphones were great until today (Aug 24, 2023). When I put them on and the left headphone separated from the the headband. Looks like the cheap piece of plastic (design flaw) that is supposed to hold the headphone to the headband wore until it got too small to hold it. Less than one year old. I just use them for my PC so they weren't banged around or abused.
It would be nice of retailers like Best Buy would vet the products they sell to ensure they meet minimum quality standards. I don't know of one that does it. It really shouldn't be "buyer beware."
