this was a great tv for the price and size. it is not a 4k tv or a smart tv but i attached my apple tv to it and the tv works perfect. if you use it as a living room tv eventually you will want a sound bar. for the price you pay and the product you get easy 5 star

I had an older flat screen that was s little smaller. This set is a great value for the price. I have a Roku, and needed something that was going to make my life really simple. I don't want to have to deal with a lot of technology and this TV really helps. Love it.

Is this a great TV, no....but it is a good TV for the price point and the picture is very good. I bought it to replace an older plasma in my garage and so far I have been more than satisfied. You definitely get a good bang for your buck if you catch it on sale.

Great buy. Easy set-up. Fit my 42" hanger. I found this after my LG took a dump all at once. I wanted a bigger screen for the wall and it went together like clockwork. I bought it online, went to pick it up an hour later and was watching it another hour later. Low price was crazy.

The TV has excellent sound and great image. Pretty easy to hook up and install. The only thing is that the only thing is.. The on off button might be a little tricky to use... If it's on it keeps giving you the different video options menu... Besides that... Great investment.

My family is blown away at the quality of the image and the simplicity of operation. True, this TV doesn't have any bells or whistles, but for a "low tech" family member, it's perfect. Purchased 5 moths ago and no problems as of yet.

I purchased this item on the reviews I read others gave it. I have been nothing but impressed with the quality. It isn't high-high end, but, the movies I am watching weren't printed with extremely high end quality information retrieval, either. When watching it, I usually sit about 4 to 5 feet from it. It is much like sitting in the 8th to 11th row in a theater. I am seeing details in this size and presentation that I was missing with my smaller monitor/tv systems. I have been using it as a computer monitor, mainly (yes, a 55 inch computer monitor-it is sweet!), but have also been watching netflix and renting from a local dvd/bluray establishment. I was so impressed with it I went to the local bestbuy and got a geek squad 2 year extension and a samsung bluray and have been nothing but impressed with both.

After reading many reviews, we chose this TV. Not knowing much about televisions, it has worked well for us. The picture is great and was easy to hook up to our cable box. For the price, I think we got a quality product with no issues.

Excellent picture quality although the blacks are a little grey at times but hardly noticeable. Very light and easy to mount but keep in mind the mounting holes are very close together 200mm I believe. So make sure you account for that when purchasing a mount.

I bought this TV to replace a malfunctioning TV for my elderly parents who didn't need a smart TV. This one was at least $100 less than other comparable models. It has a clear picture and my parents and I are pleased.

Perfect TV for the price. The picture is excellent even when watching sports, although the refresh rate is only 60. If you like it loud, you may want to purchase a sound bar as the speakers aren't the best, but certainly sufficient for TV watching.

I fell into this deal while searching for a decent size TV. It is a great 55 inch for the little amount I paid. I didn't need a smart TV and this one definitely fit the bill with it's extremely easy setup.

We bought this tv for our bedrooom and so far its perfect. Sounds great, awesome picture easy to use if kids lose the remote lol. However we did see this same tv or even a better one at Frys electronics after we purchased it.

Bought this tv to go in my garage workout space since it was a smart TV. I have the same TV in my home office. I love it. Picture is beautiful and sound it good and Smart TV features easy to set up.

We bought this TV to hang on the wall and replace our old plasma. The picture is good for normal every day shows/movies. And it is very light so I had no issues or worries hanging it on the wall.

I was concerned about buying the house brand, but after comparing image quality to others in the store, we brought it home. Impressed with everything about this TV. Would definitely buy another.

This TV is ideal for my home. We have an Xbox one and an Apple TV. We didn't need a smart tv or anything crazy fancy, so this tv was just what we were looking for. Recommended for simple use.
