Overall this is a good purchase for the price. You are provided with all the components you need to to have a full functioning surround sound set up. While the speakers are small, they are able to get quite loud without distortion. The center speaker enhances voices in movies and reduces the need to adjust the volume when going between a quite conversation scene and action scenes.Speakers sound better for movies than music. **Note** I purchased this set because of the network capabilities, specifically Spotify. Keep in mind that to use some of these features you need to update the receiver's firmware. Overall you get good bang for your buck if you are on a tighter budget and need a system with limited space. In our case we redid our fireplace mantle and did not want huge floor speakers taking away from our design. The speakers fill our 15ft x 30ft living room with ease and sound great for movies. The only drawback is the set provides limited instructions for setting up and adjusting audio/video settings. However, it is easy enough to cruise through the settings if you are willing to take the time. I was able to program the receiver remote to control our LG TV.

The receiver is excellent and can be configured to provide good sound in many types of rooms. The CEC and HDMI connectivity is great. Automatically senses my other devices which are also CEC compliant. Read the manual before you set this up and it becomes easy. The speakers are low quality for music although they are ok for TV surround sound. The remote is not designed well but works good. The keys are not layed out in any kind of order. Airplay works great. Overall a good value and with speaker upgrades can become a very good system for low cost.

This system was easy to install and sounds great. I like that it has an Internet plug for getting updates. Great system for the price. It also has a USB port on the front to hook up an iPod or iPhone.

Really enjoy the ability to connect the satellite playstation xbox and wii using the 4 HDMI imputs.
