Great Value For The Money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New owner, so I can't speak to the long term reliability of this product but after almost of month of ownership, I am very satisfied with my purchase decision. Read a lot of reviews about this TV before I purchased that indicated it was a great buy for the price. I agree... Attractive design, thin and lightweight for a 75" screen. Almost borderless design looks very elegant and appears to be of high quality. Great picture quality. High level of resolution apparent in the smallest picture details along with good brightness and vivid color reproduction. When you are watching something streamed in native 4K it really looks amazing. Normal TV / regular HD looks fine as well with the up-scaling but you get spoiled very quickly after viewing content delivered at the full resolution. Far off axis contrast and brightness is not the best I have seen but is adequate. Contrast and black levels are far superior to my old 70" HD television. I can now see low light details in movies and shows that washed out completely with older technology. Remote feels a little light and flimsy/unsubstantial but works fine. Built in apps like Netflix/Amazon work smoothly and stream flawlessly. Really enjoy the always on/listening Screencast feature which makes it easy to cast my screen from my PC, phone or iPad to the big screen. Would definitely purchase again.

STUNNING PICTURE
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I feel this television shows as vividly and clearly as more expensive sets from Samsung and Sony. I'd say this television can hold its own against nearly anything except an OLED or fop flagship models. It gets EXTREMELY bright with HDR content, especially on the "Vivid" setting. The "Calibrated" and "Calibrated Dark" settings are way too dark for my bedroom. Even at night with the lights off and the blinds closed. The colors are supposed to be more accurate on "Calibrated," but the colors don't "pop" as they do on "Vivid" mode. I wish Vizio had another setting to balance the two. Some calibration videos would also be helpful. I've read reviews on other websites where people complained that you cannot download additional apps to the television. I have not found that to be a problem. ALL the most popular streaming services are there, including: Netflix, Hulu (with Live TV), YouTube, YouTube TV, Prime Video, Vudu and so many more. I also like the WatchFree channels, powered by PlutoTV. Plus, the fact that this television has Google Chromecast and Apple AirPlay built in. It also supports Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri. This is one of the most versatile sets you can find with all these features, plus it supports Dolby Vision. I am enjoying my purchase!!

Stunning
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little skeptical at first buying a Vizio TV. I have previously only purchased Samsung TVS. Saw the deal happening for this 75 inch online and decided to check it out in store. Man was I glad I did! I was debating between this and the Samsung q70. Saw this on display and it was gorgeous. The brightness on this TV is insane. My previous Samsung 4K 55 inch had a horrible time with glare. This has very minimal! The picture is very detailed and smooth. The colors are extraordinary! Every color pops and the blacks are deep! Purchase this and you will not regret it!

Vizio For The Win!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A month ago, I purchased another brand 75" TV and thought "Life's Good", right? Not so fast! *Queue the record scratch noise!* Turns out, while the nano picture quality did look amazing, the edge lit backlight just ruined it drastically. This happened with all dark scenes in movies and several of my PS4 games. If most of the screen was dark but, just a little portion was bright on any part of the dark scene, then the edge lit backlight would light up nearly a quarter of the screen. Talk about ruining the mood! After a week of endless calibrating and calling their tech support in what turned out to be a miserably failed effort, (seriously, I think I knew more about the product than the tech support person did), I ended up having the TV returned. Most other offerings from even Samsung and Sony had edge lit backlighting, I suppose in an effort to keep costs low but, why? Personally having experienced this, I might have included this backlight option in the lower end, economic models but not your mid to high end nano and quantum (or comparable) models. I suppose in a brightly lit room, it may not matter for some. Anyway, enough complaining. I spotted the Vizio Quantum P series on display at my local Best Buy and thought "Wow! This ain't my father's Vizio!" While the picture looked gorgeous in the store (as they all do in demo mode), the description of the full array backlighting with 240 dimming zones had me sold. It was a couple of hundred than the other one I returned but, figured what the heck, for an improved backlight feature, Vizio's own quantum dot offering and Dolby Vision HDR, perhaps its worth it. I get it home and hung up, play with the settings and "Holy Cow"!, the picture is just as beautiful as was in the store! The levels of blacks and dark scenes are fluid, very, very minimal light bleed (I accept that this is not on the same plane as the higher costing OLED TV's). Of all the brands I have seen, I did not expect to see Vizio offering a model on par with the best of them for such a lower cost. And to make this purchase even better (for me at least), Best Buy had reduced the cost temporarily by a couple of hundred bucks online and so I called them and they adjusted my purchase price to match. Sweet! I am now four weeks into owning the 75" Quantum P series and am still extremely happy. Go get one! You'll be happy you did!

Great most of the time, terrible the rest
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been a year, I never review a TV until I've used it for a year. First, it's a beautiful television, and ease of use is great. We split the use the Vizio cast and Roku about 50/50, as Vizio seems to get new apps later than other streaming services. The picture is beautiful, the inputs and are easy, everything seems great, but why 3 stars. On first glance the picture is great, until you get a dark screen with a bright object. The halo effect is terrible, so bad I called within a week of owning to have geek squad check it out, in which they said everything was normal. I found that to be complete BS. Example, when playing a game, or loading youtube TV, it looks like someone is behind the tv with a flashlight on logos and menus. I was told I could fix this by basically turning the brightness down all the way and not using the backlight. Well, I purchased this television for a very bright room, and because it had great reviews about it's brightness and not having a bad halo effect... nuff said

Face melting good
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can’t say enough about this TV. The picture quality is amazing. Pretty much as good as it gets without going OLED. The local dimming works really well and produces some deep blacks. The highlights get crazy bright in HDR. Like, you almost want to get sunglasses in daylight scenes in movies. The color accuracy is a little “meh” out of the box, but using the calibration found on the RTINGS website improved things dramatically. Low latency gaming mode helps out a lot. It’s still no 1ms gaming monitor, but it doesn’t lag bad enough to impact gameplay. The motion interpolation features are very well done, if you’re in to that sort of thing. My ONLY complaints would be the OS, it’s a little clunky and slow. And the lack of apps or ability to download any apps you want. The TV is built around casting, and you’re meant to cast any apps you’d want from another device. It has the basics, Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, Hulu... but it could use a few more in my opinion.

Great TV, easy to set up, quality picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked at three different brands and settled on this Vizio. It was not the cheapest or the most expensive. I picked it because of the features for the price, size, and picture quality. The Best Buy sales associate was very patient and answered all my questions, which made my decision easier. I also purchased a wall mount. Once I got it home, I carefully read the handling instructions on the box to make sure I did not damage the TV and unboxed it correctly. that's important, so you don't damage the screen. It will take two people to handle a television this big, so make sure you let the other person know how to handle the TV. Once mounted and connected, the television just about goes through the installation process on its own. It was very easy. A great choice. I later bought a sound bar, which should be considered with every flat screen TV. There's just not a lot of room on the TV itself for good, rich-sounding speakers.

Don't overlook this TV!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially skeptical of buying a Vizio after years of owning nothing but Samsung, but after weeks of research the reviews all had a common message: The Vizio Quantum should not be overlooked, especially at its price point. I took a leap of faith, and I can proudly say: I am not disappointed! Everything about this TV has been excellent. The price. The picture quality. The features. If you're looking for an excellent TV that doesn't empty your wallet, you should really consider the Vizio Quantum lineup.

By far one of the best TV's I have owned!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tend to buy the newest technologies when they first come out. I've had two other 4K models before this one, last one being a Vizio Both were really nice pictures, but nowhere near as good as the new Vizio Quantum model. Th e blacks are deep dark true black not a charcoal color like most. This is because of the individual variable brightness on each ov the LED zones the screen is backlit by. Most screens have simply one overall brightness level and aren't quite able to make black look true black. I only wish they could have thought of this technology sooner. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!

love this t,v,
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i have owned many vizio t.v's since they first came out and this one is the best yet. i did not need a new tv but recently i purchased a m 50 series with the quantam color for our den. the picture was so clear and bright i got jealous that the one in my man cave did not match up. so i started looking at the p and px series. i decided on the p 75. while the px series has better spec's they weren't that much better considering the price difference. this is hands down the best picture i have ever seen for the price. there is only 2 problems. one is a lip sync problem with my sound bar. there does not seem to be a problem hooking it up to my stereo though. the other is my wife wants to replace all of the tv's in the house with new vizio p series .

Best TV I've Owned But its a little big
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once I was able to figure out all the settings, this has the best picture I have ever seen. Was just as good as the store. Had to upgrade Blue Ray and Get a ROKU to get most of the true 2160 ultra 4k shows. The apps on the tv are fast but the picture quality from ROKU is much better. I would recommend this tv to anyone. Unlike many of the other 4ks that are cheaper, this blacks and whits on this one are amazing. no fake shadow lines like on the Hisense or other cheaper models. Best picture of any of my 4k TVs. Also the higher refresh rate is a plus.

Left Feeling Ambivalent
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A common theme seems to be associated with the P Series Quantum from Vizio: Beautiful But Buggy. I ultimately was forced to return the TV because of quality control issues. Read on to see my full experience. Before taking the plunge on this model I did my due diligence. Among my serious considerations were the Samsung Q70, the Sony X900F and the TCL 6 Series. With Samsung and Sony it's pretty clear consumers are generally paying for a level of comfort with regards to reliability (it is important to note any mass produced product will experience some level of inconsistency in quality.) That and the picture quality is usually very good as well, if not a bit pricey. TCL seemed like a pretty big gamble from the outset, given there have been innumerable comments about bad panels online. So, I ultimately decided to pull the trigger on the Vizio P Series Quantum. Online forums and YouTube reviewers all seemed to praise it's stunning picture quality, especially given it's price point. Not to mention the specs on this model are astounding: 240 local dimming zones, Dolby Vision/Atmos support, Chromecast and Airplay 2 built-in, and an OS completely free of advertising. On paper this TV seemed near perfect. My real world experience with the Vizio P Series Quantum was pretty amazing, for a short time... While the picture quality was truly very impressive the bugs present with this TV were unforgivable. Within a few days the TV turned itself on over night and got stuck in a boot loop. So, only a few days into my relationship with the TV I was forced to physically unplug it from power to get it to boot up properly. I cautiously shook the experience off and moved onward. Several days later Smartcast failed to load, forcing me to power cycle the TV again to boot properly. A day later the TV turned itself on, yet again, immediately after I had turned it off. To be fair, I researched the problem and discovered a common work around for some was changing the TV power settings from Eco Power Mode to Quick Start Power Mode. For my particular unit this adjustment had no positive effect. At this point I was on high alert, so rather than enjoying the amazing picture quality I was always waiting for another bug to surface. Soon after discovering the power issues I discovered there was a slight audio sync issue in some of the integrated apps. I would like to be very clear about this, if not for the software and power issues I would have kept this TV. It really is a beautiful display, and if it had worked as intended it would've earned permanent residence in my movie room. As it stands, I feel very conflicted. I would like to give Vizio another chance, possibly on the newer models coming out later this year. But this experience has left me feeling very ambivalent about Vizio's ability to deliver on their promise of affordable quality televisions. All of that said, if you are in the market for a beautiful budget friendly HDR TV that supports Dolby Vision/Atmos, HDR10 and you can swallow some fatal software/power issues then maybe this TV is for you. I decided I didn't have the energy to try exchanging my unit and am putting my search on hold for now.

Love the larger size!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV looks great and is a wonderful size for whatever we want to watch. However, it seems to take a long time to turn on but also seems to always get there. It was relatively easy to set up. Works well with built in apps and also works well with our Roku streaming unit. Have been a bit leary of Vizio with some of the latest reviews on other units but felt good about the reviews for this model. Have also owned five other Vizio's and have had great service out of them so used that experience in our decision. So far am happy with my choice.

Great TV and Highly recommend. AMAZING PICTURE!!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phenomenal picture and features! I had a Samsung 8 series and the blacks were very blotchy and returned it. I didn't want to pay for a Samsung Q80 and I find this picture to be of an equivalent. The blacks are really dark and the picture pops. Another thing I like about this TV is that it has DTS sound where Samsung doesn't. In regards to HDR, I am not a fan of the technology and in my opinion is just a way for the industry to sell TV's. Set your TV up and then forget it. HDR for me does not make my picture pop and dulls it. The only TV's that beat this picture are maybe the Q90 and OLED,But you will pay dearly..

Good TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Big display. Great picture quality. Good value compared to other brands at time of purchase (June 2019). Cons: The built-in speakers are terrible, but it's not an issue while using an external HDMI ARC soundbar. The SmartCast home is slow and sometimes doesn't load at all. Oddly, the built-in apps on controller continue to work when this issue occurs. The fix is unplugging the TV from outlet and replugging it. No keyboard on TV controller.

Started off bad but nothing but good things to say
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I got this TV and was so excited to start using it. When I first turned it on and started using it, it had a awesome picture, great sound for a TV and had some awesome menu options. However the splendor went away quick. Within the first couple of days I noticed that if you has a scene with a lot of sky or white that the TV would display a lot of artifacts and looked awful. I took a few pictures and thought getting this huge TV is going to be a pain. Not to mention I'll have 20 questions and try this or try that talks... So I decided to start the process went to the Vizio website and proceeded to open a ticket. Answer basic questions. Name, address, serial number of the TV. Then it wanted a brief description of the issue and photos if possible. Took 5 minutes or less to fill out. Expected the typical response of factory reset or unplug it for 10 minutes... etc... Nope, to my surprise I got an email stating that my new TV was on the way and that I should receive it in 2-3 business days. I'll be honest I was skeptical and expecting a refurbished unit. It was too easy not even a tech calling to question anything or requesting me to repeat processes I knew wouldn't do anything. Recieved a call from the delivery company and TV was delivered. Brand new unit, they even had paperwork to box the old one and take care of everything. I have been using the new one without issue and am back to the excitement I had at the start. No issues now, TV works like a dream. Can't believe how awesome and responsive support was. Was pleasantly surprised. So Vizio had made a happy repeat customer. As I have my horror stories from other similar issues. Great TV, Great picture, and Great customer service!

Great mid-range 4k TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV itself it's wonderful. Stunning picture, good settings control, and easy to navigate. I would've given it 5 stars but the network side of it is really finicky. It sometimes requires an app to cast from a device and sometimes it doesn't. Other times the TV doesn't even show up as an option to cast too. Other than that it's a wonderful TV and I'm very happy with my purchase.
